Great episode. Wish Arya was in it though especially considering Braavosb was in the opening credits.

10. First episode in the whole series where I had no clue what would happen. Exciting to be a virgin, all over again! Just excellent. Things aren't 'vaguely hinted' anymore at this point--they're happening.

That episode was fantastic. I really loved the Northern focus, I was not expecting them to spend that much time there at all. They spent like 20-25 minutes in Winterfell alone.

I gave it a 9 no scratch that, I'm giving it an 8, there were a few things that annoyed me but generally it was a good episode. I just feel like the rushed the Dany engaging herself to Hizzy bit. There wasn't the desperation that was in the books. Although, I suppose it was meant to show that Dany is wise.
It's funny because when Missadei was talking to Dany I got the same vibe as when Maester Aemon was talking to Jon.

Still building story. The Winterfell stuff was creepy but well done , well written sequence.
I guess Grey Worm lives? Why don't we see him episode 9? Still laid up?
Not happy with two Arya-less episodes in a row.

Booooooooooo I'm sorry but the whole scene with Dany choosing to marry Hizzy was very sloppy. The man is on his knees, she has all the power, so then why should she marry him and open the pits? This was really poorly explained. I usually let a lot of things slide on the show, but this was very clumsy, in my estimation.

Fantastic episode, not a single bad or pointless scene. Even better than 503! 10

Also, something that's annoying me is that they continue to whitewash Jon in the same way they whitewash Tyrion. Jon faces barely any of the conflict he did in ADWD and of course Tyrion is pretty much perfect.

LOVED it. I only had a few minor dislikes
LIKED I loved the Bolton scenes. Stannis being a grammar nazi. Stannis talking to Sam. Valeria and the Stone men looked awesome. Dany feeding the leader to her dragons. Sure, it totally went against what Barristan just told her and it was fan service, but I loved it.
DISLIKED Grey Worm and Missandei's romance. I think it's pointless and I'm salty D&D have time for this and not Lady Stoneheart. Myranda...fuck off. Jorah getting greyscale. That sucks.

I loved every single thing about this episode even the reveal that yes in fact Jorah is going to be the grayscale victim ... but that makes it a lot more impacting than some dude we would have just met (as viewers) had they put in JonCon. This way it's much scarier and sad. As others have said, my only complaint was lack of Arya scenes for two episodes in a row.

They really could have had an Arya scene somewhere in the past 2 episodes. Hopefully 506 makes up for it.

Gave it a 7. Definitely the weakest episode of the season imo. Liked the Wall and Valyria, that's about it. All the WF scenes were very meh. Didn't like Dany feeding people to her dragons (I think D&D are being influenced by a certain forum), the scene with Hizdahr was a little better. I won't object to GW+M because I would watch Nathalie Emmanuel paint a fence, but seriously, what's the point? My favorite part of the episode was Aemon's kill the boy speech, and Jon walking in right after Aemon said he's said Dany is alone in the world.
