10/10, B.Cogs may have even topped himself this time, but that's probably just enthusiasm from just having watched it.

Gave it a 7. Definitely the weakest episode of the season imo. Liked the Wall and Valyria, that's about it. All the WF scenes were very meh. Didn't like Dany feeding people to her dragons (I think D&D are being influenced by a certain forum), the scene with Hizdahr was a little better. I won't object to GW+M because I would watch Nathalie Emmanuel paint a fence, but seriously, what's the point? My favorite part of the episode was Aemon's kill the boy speech, and Jon walking in right after Aemon said he's said Dany is alone in the world. Not surprising. Do you ever post anything meaningful? I know you were called out on the other forum, so I might as well do it here. Your one line posts add nothing to a discussion. It would be nice if you would give reasons for why you like, or don't like something. Also please stop getting so butthurt when people criticize GoT. Considering you go around shit talking Vikings, Orphan Black, Penny Dreadful, and countless other shows, but god forbid someone doesn't gush all over GoT, and give every episode a 10 lol. I think I'm quite fair to the show, I gave a 7. That's still pretty generous. I'm not one of these people that give episodes 1's and 2's, like on the other board. So don't act like I'm some hater of the show or something.

We're halfway through the season. Wtf. Anyway, I gave the episode a 10 because I was engaged during every single scene. Though I was a bit surprised that we only got 4 storylines in this episode, which made it seem longer than usual. For me, the highlights of this episode were Jon and Aemon, Ramsay and Roose, Stannis and Sam, and Tyrion and Jorah. It was also nice to see Dany and Missandei interact more. I think Sophie Turner's reaction to when she saw Theon was amazing, but I feel like this episode was a step backward for her at some points. Why would you listen to Myranda? But it was interesting to finally have her see Theon.

Totally a 10! I think it was one of the best episodes throughout all of Season 4 and so far this season, maybe the best. Everything is happening so quickly, and because it's so different from the books, I'm finding that I like wondering what will happen next. I'm glad we still have Brienne and Pod, and I can't wait to find out how they figure in. We've got them, Stannis marching towards Winterfell, and the wedding all happening very quickly (And it doesn't take long to get to WF from the Wall, either, if IRC. Didn't Tyrion, Jon, Yoren, et. al. only have one overnight camp on their way up?) Also anxious to see how/when Sansa will get to the top of the broken tower to put a candle in the window, as we know she will.
I thought I had a 'minor complaint'/'discriminating observation', but as I wrote it out, I decided, "Nah, I really don't mind that at all, either, it was probably for the best.

Felt very much like a midseason episode, steadier pace and lots of setting up, but all of the interactions were top notch and there was tension and mystery throughout. It's so exciting not knowing where this is all going - although I can imagine an episode like this would be slightly less well-received by Unsullied. Loved it.

I'd give it a 9. It really benefitted from the focus of only 4 story lines, and particular the focus on the North. Still, a lot of setup and a couple of flat scenes (Stannis-Sam in particular) stop it from being a 10. They've got themselves a nice little clusterfuck brewing around Winterfell. Loved the Stone Man aqueduct and the ruins. I also demand a slam poetry competition between Tyrion and Jorah. Not getting the hate for Missendei-Grey Worm, but then I never have. Their scenes were like 1 minute long, and you can't have everyone around Dany being one-dimensional.

Yeah neither do I. He's humanised further after a near-death experience, there's more to come from it I'm sure.

Nathalie Emmanuel being on screen is never a bad thing. I don't care what anyone says.

Nah Missendei/Grey Worm is plain awful, Barristan died for that shit. I was liking Mereen so far this season up until this ep but nahhhh. Didn't work for me tonight. I voted a generous 8, not much better than eps 3 or 4, definitely better than 1&2 though.

I give it a 9. Best episode so far, but I'm sure it can get better. A few minor problems about things getting rushed (kill the boy, Dany's engagement) but I can overlook those thanks to the large helpings of Stannis and Winterfell - and I bet I won't be saying that next week! The biggest problem for me was the acknowledgement of Olly's opinion/existence.

5/10 for me. I enjoyed everything not in Winterfell. And considering winterfell took a lot of the episode I went for 5. What I did enjoy I enjoyed 9/10 though. The wall stuff, Tyrion and Jorah in that beautiful landscape was great, Dany and her dragons were good to see. Even though those ones are smaller and chained their still huge compared to people. But I felt her marriage decision was hugely rushed and came out of the blue.

I am going to duck tomatoes, now. I gave it a 4. Episode 3 was the best of the season so far for me. I do think the show is setting up Ollie to have Jon meet his fate.

Be interesting to see the viewership for this episode since it was a non-pirate one. Only some dragons and Stonemen for the Fan-Boys , but maybe the nudity and sex scared those types away!

10/10
Awesome as hell.
- Dany and the masters of the city - Jorah and Tyrion (especially the talk about Valyria) - Jon and Tormund - Sam and Stannis - the Bolton's dinner table (every second) - Sansa and Theon (pardon, Reek) - Myranda and Ramsay - Ramsay and Reek ("I forgive you." That was just so brilliant.) - Aemon and Jon - Brienne finally taking action - Davos and Shireen (I love every single scene with these two.)
Okay:
- Missandei and Grey Worm

I read all of your posts before watching the episode and got seriously hyped. I thought I would give this a 10. But after I just watched it, I decided to give it a 9. It wasn't as good as High Sparrow was and it didn't really stand out for me except the Stone Men attack scene and Winterfell. Even Stannis didn't feel so good in this episode. I don't know. Now that we're halfway through it, I'll say the rating I gave to previous episodes: The Wars to Come: 9, THoBaW: 8, High Sparrow: 10, Sons of the Harpy: 9.
Pros and cons + Roose + Michael McElhatton + Roose trolling Ramsay + The Bolton dinner scene + "Kill the boy and let the man be born." + Stannis + Stone Men attack + The music that played during the fight, I knew it would sound similar to He is Lost, which played last season when Bran & co were ambushed by wights + Iain Glen's performance + Ramsay's talk with Myranda + Ramsay & Reek scene + Roose + Davos + Dany feeding her dragons with master meat, about time she does something stupid because of her feelings - Barry is dead - Grey Worm survived - Grey Worm & Missandei scene - Brienne. Why can't she realize Sansa won't be anymore safe alone with her in the wilderness than she is in her home - Brienne & Pod scene in general, except the old man - Selyse & Shireen going with Stannis, what is this? And Mel too - Everyone knew that Tyrion would survive so why did they have to have a few seconds screen of black? - Reek being more of a servant than Reek
This was better than Sons of the Harpy at least. Right now I'd rank them 3,5,4,1,2.

@ Roose: the Unsullied may not know that Tyrion's gonna survive. And it added to the dramatic impact of the fight.
"Reek being more of a servant than Reek": I actually liked this. Reek's still valuable in a certain way for Ramsay and his family. And keeping him as a dog doesn't serve that much. So, now he's got a task.
