I am just in awe of the visuals in this show, just astonishing. I will watch this one again and again. Drogon was so real that nobody better try to convince me he isn't real. He is, Drogon lives! :snape:
And I agree with a poster on another board, Conleth Hill is so spot on as Varys, that I think he's really Varys playing himself.
Great episode, loved it.

Who was LF talking about when he said his betrothal has been approved? I forget. The Boltons I'm still confused. Which one? I know about the Ramsay thing but it sounded like he was talking about his betrothal. She said something about oh you're over my aunt now? |

it has been surprisingly good so far, which is indeed weird. Becuase last season it wasn't that good. I'm glad they've worked on her Meereen arc and improved it. How could I have forgotten Dany and Drgon. That was beautiful and Emilia's face when she sees him is almost extatic. Good acting on her part. I feel like Drogon somehow Knew Dany was upset, and needed to see him. The way he crawled down towards her like it's ok mom I still love you even if everyone else is pissed at you. Great scene. I still think Drogon is going to let Viserion and Rhaegal out and then box their ears for messing with mom. O'l Drogon. |

I thought it was a boring episode overall.
Glad to see Ja'quen or No One back, though. I really thought the guy who was the first face of No One had the perfect face for the House of Black and White. I hope they find a way to keep that actor around. I agree with valyerianshadow, I did not like what they did with Ellaria. I was glad that the show did have Doran remind her that Oberyn volunteered for a trial by combat, so no, it wasn't murder. I also agree why didn't Brienne mention Arya? That made no sense at all. And is it me, or is Sophie Turner talking like she's bored this season so far? I just don't buy Kit Harington's (or show) version of Jon Snow as a leader. Shouldn't Jon have seemed surprised that Sam put his name forth? The show makes him look like he wanted it but had Sam as his puppet (of course in the books, Sam kind of rigs the election with their friends). I did like Sam calling out Janos Slynt. I liked the folks of Meereen throwing rocks at Dany.
I think the "whore of Highgarden" was the best line of the night.
I fear for Bronn. I also took it that Sansa and Brienne thought the marriage deal was for LF, not Sansa. Poor Sansa.
A couple of questions: Did Shireen say she was healed from Greyscale? I thought that was eventually deadly? Arya's list seems to be reduced, where was "the red woman" and the Brotherhood Without Banners on it? Glad she has not forgotten about Walder Frey.

Well at least they sort of fixed up the HoBaW's location in Braavos in the angle shots, kind of 'separated' from the city by more than it need to be.
Like the The Titan being on the horizon.

Drogon looked like shit. Worst dragon CGI yet in this show.
Denys Mallister just sat there. D&D a bit shallow for "best Ser Denys we could hope for"?
Weaker than last week.
