I'll be interested in seeing the Memorial Day ratings for sure. Personally, I always thought it was shit they skipped a week, but I understand the frustration of not everyone seeing Blackwater on its original air date.
I'm also salty because it always rains here on Memorial Day so it's not like I'm ever doing anything else. lol

I don't think anything is going to solve HBO's piracy problem.

I don't think anything is going to solve HBO's piracy problem. It's surprising that that article says that NetFlix does not have piracy problems , which now takes up about 30% of the Net's broadband!

If Netflix takes up 30% of the bandwidth in use then then that implied a very large portion of people who use the Internet for tv and things like that use Netflix haha.

Down to 6.24 but still 3 to 1 ahead of the competition.
No pirating report yet.
And still not HBO 'omni' report for even episode 1.

Well that's an unexpected dip. I wonder if unsullied are genuinely bored because there hasn't been a RW/PW-esque tragedy so far.

This week is gonna be even worse with all the controversy and MD weekend I'll be curious to see if the controversy raises ratings or they go down further. This upcoming weekend might not be the best weekend to judge that by, given that it is Memorial Day in the US.

This upcoming weekend might not be the best weekend to judge that by, given that it is Memorial Day in the US. They've been hit by leaks, Mother's Day, and now Memorial Day weekend. Tough stretch.

Controversy usually causes a ratings spike so there will probably be a slight increase next week. Or maybe MD will counteract that.

I don't know, 5.7 is on Memorial weekend, so they're probably expecting a dip. I'm sure sites like The Mary Sue and all those other ones that are jumping on the "GoT hates women" bandwagon will say it's because of them.

I wonder if this trend will continue, the ratings going down and the bootlegs going up? Seems possible.

I'm guessing they don't account for streaming either? If not then the real number is likely to be vastly larger than 3.5m since streaming is still quite common.

Yeah for some reason they haven't released many of the streaming figures yet. But I imagine they're satisfied with them if they're cool with the low live ratings coming out.

I meant illegal streaming Aha. Yeah, you're right this was only for downloads. But it is also true that they haven't released most of the HBO Go and HBO Now figures yet either.
