Good that it went up a bit. I'll be curious to see how it does next week as well. I'm a Mom and my kiddos are in bed by the time GoT comes on, so I know I will be watching. But we will know if it is lower than this week's episode, that might be the mother's day effect but if it's higher, than we'll know the leaked episodes have effected ratings somewhat.

From WotW "With 6.82 million pairs of eyes watching the first airing, the fourth episode of Game of Thrones S5 matched the performance of the second one, which constitutes a slight rise from last week. It looks like Game of Thrones won the night once more.
Overall, the numbers for episodes two through four have been essentially flat. Many will await next week with eager anticipation to see what the viewership of the first non-leaked episode this season is going to be. There should be an uptick, common sense tells us, but just how big of an effect there will be I’m not sure about."

Interesting that Wikipedia now has a chart for Metacritic's ratings, I don't remember that in years past. Running behind last year at this point but the fact that it has not dipped below 90 for the last 4 years is interesting. The critic's average assessment is always quite a bit higher than any of the GoT polls on the websites.
IMDB GoT over all rating is still a whopping 9.5 760,000 votes, I guess that now includes season 5? Sons of the Harpy got a 90%. IMDB claims they weight the average so the score cannot be gamed.

The IMDb rating isn't aggregated by season. Anyone can just go onto the main page for the show and rate it once in it's entirety

Over at Rotten Tomatoes ratings by 30 critics are running high this year. 100% The Wars to Come 96% The House of Black and White 100% High Sparrow 100% Sons of the Harpy Its hard to say Jeremy Egner , Arts Beat, at the NY Times is writing a critical review, but unlike the season reviews by Mike Hale they are always positive , if somewhat breezy: artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/05/03/game-of-thrones-recap-season-5-harpy-sand-snakes-faith-militant/?_r=0Note: Egner did episodes last season too , tho those are online, but the NY Times get dissed over the season previews I guess because it print.

Great news! Very impressive numbers. Anybody note the numbers for Sunday, yet? Up finally (and the number of pirates too). Tho methinks HBO may be looking for a real pop, yet to be seen.

That slight dip is nothing to be concerned about. Ratings are good and the dip could be explained by Mother's Day (in the US). I think next week will be back to 6.8 million and maybe even 7 million. This does go to show that leaked episodes are not impacting the ratings.

Just thinking ahead. Does the show air Memorial Day weekend (5/24)? They've taken a break that week in previous seasons.

Will have to see if the buzz does anything this year. Since for season 2 it was only after-buzz about Blackwater. (I mean outside of pirating.)

The break is after this week ep's right? I think the drop will be big because the ep just doesn't look that good - mark my words people will hate T&M, SSnakes are already infamous, Batfinger's accent and that's never good, Arya's storyline is kinda stagnant so far and that whole Sansa story is gonna piss people off so bad this Sunday. They better have a good cliffhanger.

A 10 out of 10 on rotten tomatoes again out of 29 critics.
Over at IMDB E5 Ratings: 8.9/10 from 3,162 users.
Impression I get over there is just enough fan boys who want 'explosions' to bias any rating.
