Now George is not going to Comicon, for lots of reasons now! Think there will even be a comiccon GoT panel this year?

Yep, cleared his plate to focus on those peskiy books, geting monkeys off his back. He'll have renewed vigor and total focus. He's working on TWoW, yesiree. He's got them minions manning his Twitter. Page after page, chapter after chapter, I bet he's writing TWoW and ADoS simultaneously. It's a sight to behold. Wait, he's going to Comicon? Absolute fucker.

I'd be shocked if GoT did not go this year. GRRM has stated he is definitely not going to focus on the book, correct? I won't be surprised to see David and Dan sit this year out (they sat out season 2's panel as well). And if I had to guess on the cast that will be there...expect the yearly attendees of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington to be there. Possibly John Bradley, Iwan Rheon, Alfie Allen, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. It would be nice to see Iain Glen there or even maybe...gasp...Stephen Dillane. I'd expect Lena to sit it out because she's pregnant and is either close to giving birth around that time or will have newborn at home. NCW probably sits it out because what does he have to talk about considering the mess his story was this year. I would also say Natalie Dormer is a possibility considering that there might be a Hunger Games panel, so she might be there for that even though her character didn't have much screen time this year either.

Pedro went last year and I believe Richard Madden was there after Season 3 as well. Also fixed that for you.

He can still go. Plenty of cast members have gone to the CC the year their character was killed off (Richard Madden, Michelle Fairley, Pedro and I think Rose Leslie too).

Killed for good...not ambiguously killed. That is true. If Jon's fate is ambiguous, then yes, Kit's sitting this year out. Richard, Rose and Michelle all appeared at Comic Cons in the years their characters were killed off. Anyone else confirmed besides Iain Glen?

I really wouldn't want to do Comiccon this year , gonna be fearsome! Can't see anyone from production wanting to sit there and evade a lot of questions. Iain... I really wonder. Maybe he will just show season 6 casting and leave!

Comicon is not GM's thing anyway. He says he doesn't enjoy the media-centric conventions so much. Besides, after his embarrassing performance as a moderator for the GOT panel a couple of cons ago it doesn't appear as if anyone is trying to give him some ego stroking lately by allowing him to perform in any official capacity.
No one gives a fuck about Wild Cards, Tuf Voyaging remainders or any of the drek in his back catalog. At Comicon, the only things people care about are how far along he is with TWOW and his perspective on GOT. Two things he doesn't talk about except at the barrel of his publisher's gun.

When is the Comic Con again? Can we please get a video introducing Euron, Victarion, Manderly and Tarly?

I hope that by then they already have finished casting the new major characters to give us a cool video like last year.

Yeah, D&D would be wise to sit SDCC out, I think. I can't imagine they would be greeted with happy crows of book fans.
So Glen and two Sand Snakes are confirmed (ugh, really?) I'm sure the other regulars of Clarke, Turner, Williams, Coster-Waldau, Christie, Dinklage, and Bradley will be there too.

I'm willing to bet most book fans will be very respectful and they'll have hardly any trouble at all. The internet isn't a good sample.
