Inside the Episode: "When George told us Gendry would run all the way back to the Wall and send a raven to Dany who would fly her dragon to rescue all of the guys except Jon, all in the span of one episode, we were stunned."

So...I hate to be that guy, but for all Dany's talk about the witch who told her she could never have children, she was never actually told that on the show...

I'm not sure if I've posted here before. Weird.
The episode had in spades the best thing GOT has to offer: characters just talking to each other. Is often said that the best scenes are the ones with characters talking to each other is true, the show has a great casting and is aa joy to watch most of them interact.
The King's Landing plot was good, I like how Cersei is so narcissistic she thinks she can screw everyone over and suffer no consequences. As Jaime said, if Dany and Jon win, they'll go after her for lying and if they lose, the Night King will just kill everyone, but to be honest, I can't picture Cersei doing anything else in this scenario. IMO they really should have left this as settled as possible in next season is going to have only six episodes, right now we have to see how Theon rescues Yara, Euron and the Golden Company with Cersei, Melisandre, the Jon reveal and how it affects his relationship with Dany and his family, how the North reacts to Jon's parentage and the war against the Others. I doubt six episodes will be enough to deal with everything unless they rush again, and rushing things is not good for the show, the writing suffers a lot.
I'm still pissed that only Brienne and Sandor mentioned Arya when they had Jon and basically every character she has met in all six seasons together in several scenes. Is like D&D can't write male character bonding over a female characters they all have met.
Anyway, back to the episode, I have a huge problem with the Winterfell scenes. It was awful. I've been rooting for LF's death since season 1 and what they did was lame, lazy and stupid. That shit was no trial, Sansa didn't have any proof or witness to back her accusations even though she knew they were true. You can't be the accuser and the judge. And apparently everyone believes in Bran's powers and what he says becomes fact.
And I better not start with how they turned Arya into a simple executioner so Sansa can keep her hands clean and how they took the northen tradition of executing the man you condemn to death yourself and threw it into the trash when Sansa could have done it herself.
The whole WF plot was a mess, they knew someone big had to die and LF was a good choice, but everyone had to act dumb to get there. LF was dumb for staying when Sansa was being snarky, Bran was quoting his private conversations and Arya was suspicious of him. Sansa was dumb letting LF manipulate her again after he sold her to the Boltons, Bran was dumb for not saying anything (until Sansa goes to him in a deleted scene) and Arya was dumb for not sitting down with Sansa for five minutes to clear things up. The show has made characters act dumb for plot reasons before, but it usually didn't last several episodes.
Every character in WF deserved better.

I thought it was interesting that LF did ask Yohn Roycem to take him 'back', but everyone in Vale , except Robin, seemed to hate LF , so any excuse to get rid of him was ok with them. I guess the military forces of the Vale will now take part in the Great War?
