So, apparently I'm still the only one not entirely convinced that FTW will happen this season...

I usually watch the show live with my girlfriend (who is no Unsullied) and then rewatch it on monday evening on Sky Atlantic when I go see my parents.
My mom cried during Shireen's burning, and her only comment was: "Now you've crossed the line, Stannis. You'll never be the hero you wanted to be".
Dad was more upset by the Unslullied's lack of utility. He's a nitpicking guy with a very good memory, so he was all like: "What the hell, these guys were supposed to be invincible. It's like with the Dothraki all over again".
My 18yo brother isn't very into the show (he watches it sometimes but mostly when he has nothing else to do) but found Drogon's entrance cool. He also observed that "the dwarf is a total badass and will probably bone the hot curly-haired chick".

Nobody ever said that LS has to appear where she does in the books, though. Show-wise, she could very well be in the North for what we know, and move to the Riverlands in a second moment. Freys are probably in the North as well, since they are allied with the Boltons. I believe that to introduce her (if they do), doing so via an existing character as Brienne (with or without Sansa) is much more effective that simply showing her hanging Freys (even though that would be easier). I even heard a theory that sees LS appearing to kill Ramsey after he flees the Battle of Winterfell... Is Moat Callin very far from Winterfell? Whats the chances of Brienne getting from Winterfell to Moat Callin in 1 episode if we are speculating that the pic is LSH in/near Moat Callin? In the books, yes. In the show, the distances are varying as for the convenience they have for the plot. In season 1 it took a month for Robert to reach Winterfell, but in season 5 Littlefinger just appears in Winterfell at the end of an episode and warps into King's Landing at the beginning of the next. So, the chances of Brienne teleporting to the Moat Cailin area are the same she has to appear in freaking Dorne xD

Personally, I root for the "Brienne seizes the opportunity of Stannis' Siege on Winterfell to help Sansa escape, and then they both meet LS in the ending" theory. I think if LSH is in, It won't be via Brienne. Brienne is too far away. Unless her appearance is a post credits scene that is weeks/months in the future. A post credits scene can even show something in the past, something that has been brewing Nobody ever said that LS has to appear where she does in the books, though. Since we were talking about movies, I have a question/statement: I would freaking love a movie-prequel (or a spinoff season, what the hell) on the War of the Usurper. Would you like it to happen (and why) and do you see it possible in the future? Here's a thread in General about spin-offs people would love to see:

In case someone was wondering, the Linda madness situation escalated during the afternoon. After more or less everyone bashed her for her outrage and ridiculous campaign proposal, she went completely nuts and started answering the "Show-watchers" (sic) with inspiring and highly professional comments such as:
"Fuck off you twat"
"Shut up you fucking nitwit"
"Have fun being mentally retarded"
And so on.
Now, it's not my custom to wish misfortune for another human being. But I seriously hope George realises who the hell he's associating with and pubblicly forsake this woman who clearly needs professional help.
Also, I learn from the other comments that she has recently published a book and that a counter-campaign to boycott it and to let the community know about her lack of professionality has already started. Now I don't know if I wish for her to be stupid enough to actually spoil episode 10 and get destroyed by the fandom or not.
I still have to decide.

I finally made my Top 3 list of Sand Snakes 1. Nym (She's the only one I truly like and the only one, who seems to intelligent at all) 2. Obara (Girl, stop putting your name ahead everything you say and I'd probably like you) 3. Tyene (I've never been so annoyed by a certain character. I used to loathe Lancel and Pycelle, but she's in the top spot now) [br Hmmmm....Obara is easily the worst. Yeah Obara has shown a total lack of personality besides her grumpy faces Nym was well acted indeed. As for Tyene, I like her... because reasons. Two main reasons (sorry for the male moment, ladies)

She's enraged that D&D said Martin told them Shireen burning happens later in the books and thinks the proper response is to tell all the show watchers that Jon dies in the finale. How this person has an elevated place in a position of power within the fandom as well as George's ear escapes me completely. My opinion? Mostly being an uncompromising book reader with a thing for bitching. Book readers often want to listen to someone who indulges in severe ranting for the sake of the written word. All you have to do is be always outraged, never accept any change and generally fuel the hate of the community. If you go anywhere on the internet, all the major online communities are led by people like this, in many different areas of interest. MyAnimeList, Westeros.org, the Tolkenian Legacy. Even the freaking Harry Potter fandom is led by stupid-ass integralists who have no idea what the word "adaptation" means.
