How did Varys get from Dorne to Mereen in a half an hour? He probably borrowed Littlefinger's teleportation device

No LF fans have ever come after me in my endless bitching about how he's the fucking worst. First you'd need to find at least one LF fan I personally loathe him and desire for him the worst death ever, but I can't help wanting to see how far he can go for his powerlust. Plus, his shapeshifting accent and teleportation powers are just priceless in this show xD other than that, i get and support your point on hate

Well to be honest people was actually convinced Robb rode a freaking direwolf to battle and commanded a whole pack of giant wolves and shit, so it kinda makes sense that people in the North would just start spreading the rumors about "The Stark bastard who rose from the dead and is the best swordsman who ever lived" This is true. But do the Northmen know that Jon has risen from the dead? Idk, probably not. Sounds like a news that would travel freaking fast... But Jon's death didn't reach the North at first, Ramsey thought he was still Lord Commander. That could be due to the Night's Watch distance from the rest of the North (and the fact that mutiny was involved), but still noone looks surprised to see Jon alive when he rallies the northern houses, so probably only the wildlings and the watchers know about it. still, rumors be rumors, i added the "risen" part but his name could still be known in the north as the name of the youngest Lord Commander ever, a man who fought and defeated both Wildlings and White Walkers (pretty much everyone knows about the WW now, since the Watch sent crows in the whole continent? it's just that southern houses don't believe the warnings), and, why not, "the best swordman the North has ever seen". Sounds plausible, it works for me

Who the fuck has ever called Jon the greatest Swordsman who ever lived? My point exactly. Especially when Jon told Sam back in season 4 that Robb was better than him in everything. And Jaime, with two hands and Arthur Dayne might have something to say about that. Well to be honest people was actually convinced Robb rode a freaking direwolf to battle and commanded a whole pack of giant wolves and shit, so it kinda makes sense that people in the North would just start spreading the rumors about "The Stark bastard who rose from the dead and is the best swordsman who ever lived"

I just want Euron to be in this one, we need a nice terrifying setup for him to become the big villain in s7-8. It's never gonna play out like this, but a scene with Sam arriving in Oldtown just hours before Euron raids it to retrieve the Horn, well that would make me decently happy I can also set for Euron ripping Aeron's head just because he's another Greyjoy, just to show us what a freaking madman he is. I don't think there is any way to shape Euron as played by this actor to be a terrifying villain You never know, yaknow? Pilou has the traits of the psychotic powerdrunk villain, same way Iwan Rehon did: he just has to trim the bear beard and try talk a bit more about "I AM THE DROWNED GOD, I AM THE STORM" and a bit less about giving Dany the D.

I'm just gonna spend a minute to point out how UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLY POWERFUL that long sequence shot following Jon in the midst of the battlefield was. The whole progression from that long shot onwards, with the increasingly confused cuts on the gruesome cruelty of the battle, was just breath taking. I found myself gasping alongside Jon and yelling at the screen while he was smashing Ramsay's face. Their final confrontation was also amazing, with the bow-shield action (instead of a more predictable sword on sword fight) and the hyper-satisfying perfection of watching Jon breaking his goddamn face before stopping when he sees Sansa.
And Sansa... Well, I think all has been said in the video posted above: that perfect little smile in the end was just priceless.

The one and only way they could screw this up is by making the new BwB a cult guided by an insane Thoros who lost his mind or something. Anything else would make zero sense in terms if character continuity. If you show us a corrupted BwB, you gotta explain us how the hell that happened, and at this point it's either LSH or Mad Thoros.
That, or fucking Gendry resurfaced as a glorified Red God messiah with a six-pack.

The timeline in the show is all over the place. If we take into consideration the distances some of the characters travel between episodes (*cough* LF), one must assume that one season takes place over several months, maybe even a year. But it doesn't really matter, it matters much more in the books, because so much happens in between the big events - but for the show, it's pretty much irrelevant. I think it's safe to say that Roslin has not given birth yet, I mean, otherwise why keep Edmure alive? Which could mean that less than nine months have passed since the Red Wedding. Just speculating. The timeline inconsistencies are not that much of a bother to me honestly, but i think the worst part of them is not about travelling distances. it's more about the discrepances between one storyline and the other, like S6 beginning the morning after Jon's stabbing and immediatly shifting to Cersei with longer hair than S5 and Jaimie arriving home the same day, which makes you think "uh, that doesn't fit at all". that, and the "let's just assume people forgot what happened last couple of seasons", which is annoying when it makes characters do nonsense (like Arya forgetting she hated the guts of Thoros, Beric and the Red Woman, or Varys being sided with Dany all along) only for plot convenience. It works, cause most average viewers don't really care enough to notice, but for us it's a (minor) nuisance

GUYS! June 26: “The Winds of Winter”: A queen comes forth. Euron (Pi lou Asbæk) r eveals himself. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) meets a friend turned foe. King’s Landing awaits justice. The Night’s Watch gathers. Written by David Beni off and D.B. Weiss; directed by Migue l Sapochnik. I swear to God if this refers to Jaimie some heads will be rolling. That would be just evil.

I don't think RW 2.0 is in this season. The show needs something else than just ooooh Dany, Tyrion and Jon, Powerpuff team flies off to fuck up WW in the next 2 seasons. I think RW 2.0 is gonna be next season so I pray to God all Arya does this season is waving a stick like a moron and once she gets to Westeros she does nothing this year I'm so hoping Beric is on her list tonight. Then when Thoros gives his epic SHE ROSE speech Beric is crossed off the list andI don't have to spend the rest of my days shitting on Dabid, Dan and Sophie. Yeah me neither, I was just listing alternatives that are still better than "No LSH, Blackfish hangs people now. And he's allied with the Brothehood. And has a Lightsaber wooohh" But as I said in the other topic, I don't think Beric, Thoros and Mel not being on the list tonight confirms anything: as far as we know, Sophie could pretty much be referring to the full list as it was in S4, since it's the one everyone considers anyway. She knows about the series a lot, she proved that in the past. If we wanna talk facts, it's just what you said a few days ago: This season has Riverlands, Jaimie meeting Brienne there, Thoros witnessing a fucking hanging. If she doesn't rise this year, then fuck this show, cause it's not worth our time anymore.

I think "Arya is the trailer more time than you think" is the lie. At least I hope so because her killing Mountain or Cersei or Walder is underwhelming as fuck. Hopefully kuroitheblack is right and it refers to Beric being dead and off her list but I think this is the level of attention to detail these writers are not capable of There's always the better option: Arya does cross off at least a name (but not three) between Beric or Thoros (i think the latter), LSH shows up and everyone is happy. Or: LSH shows up and Arya witnesses Red Wedding 2.0 in 610, thus crossing Walder's name off the list. And everyone's happy again. Or even: Sophie just like fucking with our heads and totally answered those questions at random. Let's be positive!

I don't quite follow your logic for some of these... My take: 1. I am not actually sure that Ramsay dies. I am pretty sure he is defeated, but I rather suspect he might get away and have a later role to play releted to the WW. 2. Arya's list will shrink, but it all depends on if she has to kill people herself for it to count as "her" crossing off names. 3. There is, IMO, a remote possibility that Arya has scenes in the Riverlands via Nymeria and is present only in a similar way Sorry for the confusion, I'll try to clear stuff up: 1. If Ramsay survives, then LSH must be in the show, and Arya has to kill/aknowledge (by witnessing or hearing about) the death of three of her enemies on her list. Which, if the least only includes Cersei, the Mountain and Walder Frey, is just not possible, cause there's no way all three of them are dying this season (Cersei is gonna be endgame for sure). So yeah, either the list includes Beric, Thoros and Mel, or Ramsay pretty much has to die this year. We'll know tonight. 2. As I mentioned, neither Sophie nor Maisie ever mentioned that Arya has to be the killer, just that she "crosses names off her list". This means that she has to witness or at least be somehow informed of their death. Or, and this could very much be a possibility, they were talking figuratively and just meant "no one/three people on Arya's list will die", with no relation to the fact that Arya knows about it or not. Cause fuck us, we don't deserve clarity! 3. That could be! I guess we'll know the moment Nym pops up in one of those "previously on GoT". what is Arya's list right now anyway? Was Beric even on it last we heard? Please read this extensive post I wrote on the subject

yeah, but either Arya DOESN'T go to Westeros and thus crosses nobody off her list, or she does and thus has to kill/aknowledge the death of at least someone on the list itself. And if the list omits Thoros and Mel tonight, then it has to be Walder (Cersei has to burn KL and no freaking way Arya kills the mountain).
That's why I hope the list is the longer one, because then she'd cross Beric the fuck off it or she would kill Thoros and in both cases we'd be fucking done worrying

As long as she doesn't meet Mountain, Cersei and Walder this season she can do whatever the fuck she wants Are you sure? Cause if you think about it, she kinda has to kill (or at least know about the death of) someone on her list for LSH to appear. Please check out my post on the LSH topic, I elaborate a bit more about this there.
