@joliefaire He just wanted to be helpful and stuff!! Be thankful for him correcting all your mistakes over and over again!!! You're right. I AM thankful! Thankful he had no interest in the show, stopped posting when the show came out. Thankful I'm here and he can't find me!
On Topic: Re Jon's parentage, I do not believe Jon's mother was Ashara Dayne! (Despite the hundreds of archived book pages at Westeros.org. that claim otherwise, sigh...) And if it turns out she actually was his mother, I'll, I don't know, I just cant...

Reading these thoughts and theories takes me back to the early book-only days at Westeros.org. The R+L=J topic was the topic. It would take only days for a thread to reach length, close and open again in a new version. While all this was going on, there was one guy there who was convinced that Ned and Ashara Dayne were Jon's parents. He made a good case, but had this flaming habit--and for some reason he attached himself to me. Every time I'd post anything that had the names Lyanna or Rhaegar in the post, he'd quote me and change my words to Ashara and Ned. Even when others would quote one of my posts, he'd then quote them and again change my words to Ashara and Ned. Drove me mad!!! It got to the point that people would start arguing with me about why I believed A+N=J, because you'd see pages and pages where he had quoted me and changed my words. I sent him dozens of raging PMs about it, but the guy was obsessed, wouldn't stop. Yesteryear's version of today's Poete Laureate, I guess. Wow, what kind of bad message board etiquette.... Ned/Ashara is what's really bad fanfic. My feelings on them match Arya's when Ned Dayne brought it up, lol. Ashara's baby is dead and so are both of the Stark bros she met at Harrenhal, so idec who her babydaddy was. The kid sure as hell wasn't Jon.

Speaking of Jon Snow's parentage, here's a recent(-ish) interview with Emilia were she claims to have not heard the rumours of Jon and Dany being related I somehow find that hard to believe.

ETA: Guess we're way off topic of Jon's parentage by now. Oops. I think I started us down that path. It's my unintentional super power. Sorry! Super! I always love it when I can blame somebody else! (Just kidding!)

Just saw this posted over at NeoGAF. No clue if its just bullshit, or what. Probably bullshit, of course, but lets keep our eyes and ears open to see if it pops up anywhere else.

I give George mad props for remaining evasive about it all these years. After the number of times he's been asked and people try to be clever with their questions, he never skips a beat does he! I think people love to grasp at anything thing they can one way or the other. Even if he did say that legit at a convention interview, it doesn't mean R+L=J is suddenly wrong. Wishful thinking on the part of those who hate the theory.

Tyrion Targaryen just sounds weird. I think Dany is AA and will ride Drogon, Jon is the Prince who was promised and will ride Viserion, and Bran is the stallion who will warg Rhaegal. Im going back a bit here but I think the PtwP, AA and the Stallion the Mounts the world, along with Last Hero and the Rhoynish hero who was said to have sung a song to bring the sun back at dawn (a song to end the long night, sounds familiar) are all just culturaly derived from the same person. These people all share the same storied destiny and it seems to hint that they are one in the same. The three heads of the dragon is kind of a standout thing though. Dont really undersrand the impact of this other than stating that Dany's dragons will have riders...
