I finished Stranger Things season 4 first part. Definitely much better than the last 2 seasons and they really raised the stake higher

I'm really glad they release Hamilton on the streaming service.
Imo the songs are flat in the middle part of the musical, but for the most part I love the performance. The actors and actress who play Angelica and Thomas Jefferson won me over. God I loved that Thomas is such a cocky bastard.
My favorite songs are Satisfied, The Room Where It Happens, and Burn.
I'm glad we may see more musical films be available for the mainstream audience. It's pretty satisfying to see my friends and acquaintance got into Hamilton despite not being a musical fan, and they pretty much look down on the fandom back when it was hype.

Watched Onward a few days ago.
Thought It was decent. Definitely not the worst Pixar movie (like Cars 2). It was one of their meh work along with Bug's Life and Monster Inc since there wasn't anything goundbreaking in the story or characters.
On the other hand, I'm excited for Souls. Their second trailer is definitely much better than the other.

It's easy to pin the blame on anyone for TROS or even the sequel trilogy. Like while the internet might had been partially the blame given it's rabid fanbase, the contributions between JJ Abram and Rian didn't help the case. And even then Star War is under Disney's proprieties and their executive ideas most likely interfered with the films.
Granted I never watch the sequel triology, though reading about the plot for TROS doesn't sound appealing. But if any of you liked TROS regardless, please avoid social media. It already became a shitstorm.

I finished watching Euphoria on HBO.
This is definitely a show worth that accurately depicted into teen culture and teen's problems. Something that 13 Reasons Why wished it wanted to be, but failed miserably. The biggest strength from this that it doesn't dehumanize any teens who indulge into drugs and sell. Rather it explored their root that explains why they do these unhealthy habits and it's very believable. Even though I never experience this myself nor my high school wasn't like this, but many people on the internet said so, so I can buy into it.
Zendaya is fantastic and I loved that her acting is well-done and convincing compare to her other roles where it felt like she's stuck in his Disney phrase. Same with Jacob Elordi who was in that Kissing Booth mess. In fact I didn't even notice he was the same actor in that movie.
The cinematography and lighting helps make the show stands on its own, and the best part was the soundtrack. It's been such a long time where the copyright music fit into the series and I loved it.

The only thing I heard about WoT is that Robert Jorden’s writing of his female characters is the equivalent to anime’s - make their women too stereotypical, has one role like a girlfriend or mom, and the majority of the women who can fight ends up becoming less badass.

The only reason I would want to watch that show is because Kiernan Shipka is in it. She's amazing in Mad Men and I heard she did very well to make the show more tolerable to watch lol.

God the costumes for The Witcher look horrible lol
Also I can’t wait to watch Succession, Chernobyl, and resume Mad Men after this semester is over. I’m a sucker for flaw and unlikeable cast.

Honestly there isn't a clear cur solution to this. Given many other big companies made tons of profit off from China as showcase with Disney with Mulan and Doctor Strange controversy, so it's not surprising about Blizzard. And you are definitely right, the majority of the people who worked at Blizzard has nothing to do with this mess, so it's unfair to target at the dev and artists as well.
With that being said, I gotta say that the protesters using Mei as a symbol is quite a savage tactic against China and Blizzard.

Just watched American Psycho on Netflix. I never thought I actually enjoyed it considering so many people likes to make fun of it. The ending is ambigious. But I liked the theory that Patrick actually did killed some of the people like the prostitute, but the people don't care about it and just move on to their life. I feel like that truly serves the theme of the movie about upperclass people being absorbed into their materialistic culture that they care little about other's life.

I understand from both sides of this. On the one hand, companies especially Disney will inevitably has to change or diverge things from the creator's ideas. After all, that's how production work and people will have to put up with that.
But on the other hand, I feel like Disney should at least respect the man's wishes. Yeah Lucas admitting he doesn't like the Force Awaken isn't new. But when Disney is buying Lucasfilm that created the biggest franchises ever, some respect for the man need to be made. Granted we may never know what sort of exact story Geroge Lucas has in mind for the sequel saga, but it's known that as much as he is terrible at executions, he has fantastic ideas.
