Alien Covenant is sitting at 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, could this be the scary Alien movie we wanted Prometheus to be?

The trailer has been floating since 2016, yet we still do not have a release date. Real bummer. This gold needs to be witnessed. Also, in all this time, neither Sestero or Wiseau have improved in anyway as actors and it's perfect!

Maybe Netflix will pick it up. Eh, I think it's gonna be an indie release. Netflix may get it down the line, but at the same time, Tommy Wiseau is an odd guy who doesn't understand the premise of netflix. As far as I'm aware, he's still resistant to The Room being on digital media because he believes it'll affect DVD sales. DVD sales in 2017. Yes.

Looks like this was directed by somebody named Gary Fong.

I don't actually know come to think of it, as it says on Wikipedia there are 3 indie production companies involved, Wiseau films being noticeably absent from that list. Tommy may only be involved as an actor, if so it may get some real distribution rather than mail order DVDs.

If Tommy Wiseau couldn't get hired to a role that was written for him then that would sum his acting career up perfectly.

The character L in Death Note is actually American, not Asian. And he is also the main reason why everyone should watch that show, he's a great character. <3

Alien Covenant is sitting at 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, could this be the scary Alien movie we wanted Prometheus to be? Read a couple of reviews. They remarked that it wasn't terrible but wasn't great either, and rather unoriginal. Some commentary that it's badly paced with a drawn out beginning. And one of the reviews said not much scare in it at all. I'll probably still go see it though see what I think of it myself. Though I was disappointed to read that The most interesting parts of Prometheus (which had some interesting premises, terribly executed) with the Engineers and why they created humanity, why they wanted to destroy it, which you'd expect to be explored in a sequel are squashed pretty quickly. Granted, that's probably not why most watch Alien films. I'm not terribly invested in the franchise though so I liked that idea and hoped to see more of it.

I didn't quote you because that would reveal the spoiler. But I'm not expecting much originality as this is the 6th movie in the franchise. At this point, I'm satisfied to get Friday the 13th in Space. And with Scott directing, it should look amazing.
