I don't think the thing with Sandor felt rushed at all. It just wasn't what we were expecting because it was different than the books. We saw who saved him and heard how, and we got a reason for him to leave and seek vengeance. What else do we really need? I have no desire to dwell there just because of McShane. Sansa had no choice but to enlist Littlefinger. No surprise there. Now she'll be indebted to him again. That crafty fucker. Who said that? I thought with the reveal and the little peaceful society it was probably the best part of the episode? I said it felt a little rushed - I meant the ending. I didn't think it would all play out off-screen like that without more explanation of what exactly was going on with the 'bad guys' - who they were, etc. Casual viewers probably going to be a little confused by some of that. The setup with McShane was great. I felt they could have given the whole thing at least 5 more minutes they shaved off the episode though. I do understand why they did it that way I guess... so that Sandor has no choice now but to go back to the only thing he knows how to do.

I am a watcher and on here and if I was not on here, I would not have known who the "bad guys" were and why they killed the Septon and those people. That's why I thought it was rushed. They went for the surprise because they wanted us to feel what Sandor felt and I get that...but I think it needed a little more time.

No Bran, time to riot! Haha, but in all seriousness, while I did want to see at least a bit of action from North of the Wall, I was pretty pleased with the episode. The episode seemed to fly by though. Lyanna Mormont was a badass and the girl playing as her did an amazing job. Arya getting stabbed like that shocked me, I really don't want to see another Stark die I wonder if she'll run into Lady Crane next episode. I was expecting Ian McShane's character to be around much longer, but I'm excited to see Sandor back. Also, I hate the High Sparrow and the Waif even more if it were possible.

Wow!!!
Where to start? First off, I'm tickled pink that The Hound got so much screentime, and FINALLY his own POV! I loved watching him swing that ax. I'll bet Rory enjoyed the chance to show off a bit, given his background as a forester/lumberjack. Ian McShane was wonderful. I hated to lose the septon so quickly. I was a bit disappointed that it played out so differently from the books, but it was still pretty good.
Jaimie kicked ass today. I always enjoy him more when he's apart from Cersei. And Bronn got best quote IMO.
Lady Lyanna should be ruler of Westeros. Seriously. She could kick Dany's ass.
But the big shocker to me was Arya getting stabbed. That looked like a mortal wound. How's she going to overcome that?

Maisie Williams is brilliant, y'all. Really, really brilliant. Compare her behavior as Mercy last week to her behavior as the new and improved Arya Stark this week. She has a completely different bearing and tone of voice, a different expression on her face, everything. And I believed her stabbing. That made me a little light-headed. Whee. No way Arya dies, though. No way. She has to use her skills for something or she wouldn't have gone to the Faceless Men in the first place.

I think they set the "bad guys" up perfectly fine. They said the night is dark and full of terrors and the Hound did say they were from the Brotherhood.

Yara, dear, could you please stop talking about fucking girls while you're giving your poor dickless brother a pep talk? That seems a wee bit insensitive. Yara doesn't have time to deal with those niceties. She's a tough love sort of girl, can't help it.

Gotta admit, the bit where Sandor ran to the camp and found everyone dead and the Brotherhood gone seemed a little odd to me. How far away was he? Still loved it though. Sandor is back! I'm not gonna complain about that!

I would have loved a Septon Meribald speech but the show's version was very well done. The pacing felt fine. In the books it felt like more time had passed, and like a complete spiritual reawakening could have taken place. That doesn't really feel like the case in the show to me. It feels like it's been...I dunno, six months or so. Long enough to heal but not to really change as a person. Although, I always thought that spiritual reawakening would go right out the window as soon as he heard about Ser Robert Strong, so this sort of just skips that middle phase.

Really have to wonder how the Brotherhood are going to tie back into things here. Clearly they're not what they once were, but there's obviously going to be more to it than Sandor tracking them down and exacting revenge. I think it's going to involve Brienne somehow but it's hard to piece together since we're so drastically far off book. I am super psyched to see how this plays out though.

She really is an amazing young lady ... she pulled off that mortal wound very convincingly... I was on the verge of tears no one was stopping to help her! Braavos is some cold cold people! I felt like that whole thing was a dream sequence for some reason. It felt real but not really real. Does that make any sense?! I am continually amazed they keep sneaking in shocker scenes like this that even the spoiler sources didn't know about!

We'll see Bran in 8 (which is next week, terrifyingly enough...) or in the finale. He has too many potential cliffhangers in his story (Benjen, ToJ, and Night's King) to put him in too much.

Overall I think I liked how quickly they catapulted Sandor back into the middle of things though.

As a plot point I am surprised the dialog for the Blackfish and Jamie did not contain the Blackfish sticking Jamie with the fact that Jamie's father was the one who set up the murder of Cat and Robb. That would have made Jamie take a step back.

It reminded me of the time I passed out waiting for a bus in Boston, and instead of helping, the people just made a wide circle around me and got on the bus. Yes, it does make sense that it seemed dreamy to you. She was losing blood, and it was shot from that state of losing consciousness. Poor little Arya.

I loved this episode. My only complaint that it was too short.
Nice to see old Jamie starting to appear.
That Arya scene, something seems wrong.
I wasn't too bothered before the episode about the Hound returning as he's not one of my favourite characters, however, I'm going to say I loved it. Ian McShane was awesome.
The little girl who played Lyanna was brilliant. She was fierce.
Kings Landing looks like something is finally going to happen.
The Greyjoy plot moved forward. The acting was good and it did what was needed. However it wasn't spectacular.
The picture looked strange. I wonder if they used different filters.
