Need to gather my thoughts but I thought it was a generally good episode. Lyanna Mormont is my new hero.

Yeah same here... still processing all of that.
The episode was way too short and felt rushed in some places - particularly Sandor's return and McShane. They had a beautiful setup but they rushed it. I didn't like how that went down. But otherwise I don't have major complaints other than the entire episode was a lot of teasing and setup with no real results. We should have expected this going into the latter half... they have to set up for the big battles to come.
Oh and WTF - Major shocker on Arya getting herself stabbed by fucking Waif wearing an old lady face. That pissed me off... goddammit don't leave us hanging on that!!

Sansa is getting so annoying this season. She just keeps talking about the Starks and expecting everyone to bend to her will because she wants them to. AND she dares question Davos, AND she dares insult the Mannis.

I'd bend the knee to Lyanna Mormont. That child is amazing, and so is the actor playing her.

ort
-like Margaery and Olenna.
-Olenna puts no respek on Cersei's name. Lol Cersei tryna be all fake and Olenna's like bitch please.
-ahhhh there's Jaime again
-Blackfish is awesome
-SANDOR MOTHERFUCKING CLEGANE
-BWB hanging someone? LSHYPE
-I liked how utterly misogynistic the High Sparrow was. Very "book HS"
-Arya needs to kill that bitch already
-Yara bit a girls tit. Ok.

Glad Sandor doesn't have a man bun like Jon.

I am so fucking glad Sandor is back. I loved the Cleganebowl teasing, "there is a reason you're still here, the gods aren't done with you yet". Also, I'm back on the LSH hype train after Septon McShane being hanged.

I don't think the thing with Sandor felt rushed at all. It just wasn't what we were expecting because it was different than the books. We saw who saved him and heard how, and we got a reason for him to leave and seek vengeance. What else do we really need? I have no desire to dwell there just because of McShane. Sansa had no choice but to enlist Littlefinger. No surprise there. Now she'll be indebted to him again. That crafty fucker.

We should have expected this going into the latter half... they have to set up for the big battles to come. Agreed with all of the above. Mc Shane was terrific, I think that could have gone 2 episodes. How did Sandor not hear all of that commotion? How will Arya survive those stomach wounds? I guess Sandor will be back to his old ways now. Lyanna Mormont was awesome. I wish the show had done the North Remembers the way the book had (my favorite part of Dance) and it's kind of sad to see them struggle to get an army together. Why didn't anyone give Glover the war is between the living and dead speech? Davos clearly is the brain trust of that operation. I assume Sansa has sent a letter to Littlefinger for aid (where did she get the Stark stamper?). Some nice dialogue between Jaime and Bronn. I did not realize how much I missed Bronn until he reappeared tonight. Oleanna telling off Cersei was awesome too. Finally some remembered that Cersei is responsible for making the Faith as powerful as they are. Margarey is clearly playing a part.

I was really on the edge of my seat with a lot of those tense scenes. This was an episode full of people talking smack to one another so I give it mad props for that if nothing else!
- Blackfish smack talks Jaime - Olenna smack talks Cersei - Lady Mormont smack talks the Starks - Lord Glover smack talks the Starks (he was a great actor btw, very intense) - Bronn smack talks Jaime - Yara smacks some sense into Theon
.... as much as I want to criticize the episode, it was still pretty damn good for all the verbal sparring that went on.

That was pretty good but man alive was there so little payoff. Leaving us hanging on Arya like that was a dick move, even though we all know she ain't dying.
They don't half give Cogman the heavy lifting don't they! Cheeky buggers get all the big payoff themselves.

I thought with the reveal and the little peaceful society it was probably the best part of the episode?

Yara, dear, could you please stop talking about fucking girls while you're giving your poor dickless brother a pep talk? That seems a wee bit insensitive.

I would have loved a Septon Meribald speech but the show's version was very well done. The pacing felt fine.
