He wasn't inside the vision the same way Bloodraven and Bran are. He was there the same way Ned was at ToJ vision. The Night King most likely just felt Bran's presence and grabbed him, like Wylis saw Bran later on in the episode. I'm not sure if I interpreted it the same. It seemed like an odd vision for Bran to go to in the first place. I thought the implication was that Bran wanted to see more of the CotF vision (it was the same place) but he couldn't control his powers properly and ended up going to a different vision which still happened in the same place. |

Benjen actually knew what Bran saw. Wut? How do you draw that conclusion from that sentence? I meant that Ned was in the ToJ vision because he had been present when the actual event had happened. This is the same for NK. Just like Ned heard Bran's voice (though he didn't think much of it), the NK saw Bran. Of course Ned couldn't see Bran  Ned is just a normal man, while the NK is a magical ice deity. |

I thought the NK just intercepted the weirnet and took him to where he wanted bran to be. But yeh you could be right! |

Meera said the raven was dead, and Benjen said he lives again. Later he confirms that Bran is the new Three Eyed Raven. I'm unsure if Benjen was called by Bloodraven before he died or by Bran. Bloodraven makes more sense if Benjen had to travel some distance. But Bran himself makes more sense if you consider Benjen knew exactly where to find them. @rooseisazorhai, I misunderstood and thought you meant that the vision they saw was like a replica of the past instead of them really attending the actual past event. We know they're really going back in time, because Bran affected the past. |

We know they're really going back in time, because Bran affected the past. True. I just discounted Bran because he had no idea his uncle was alive, whereas Bloodraven, connected with the CotF as he was, should know. And Bran seemed surprised to see Benjen too, implying he hadn't contacted him. But who knows really. As an aside, I wonder if the CotF who helped Benjen are different from those in the cave (as in different individuals, not a different species.) It's not really said whether the Children leave the cave or not, so there could still be hope that some of the CotF survived. Unless D&D said otherwise in some video or other. I don't watch them, prefer to interpret myself |
