It also really sucks to be called out by a drunk fetus from Finland who knows English much better than you. Wait, what? Why is the fetus drunk? We're Americans, Al. Get used to everyone from everywhere else being better educated in languages. Yeah I dunno where I was going with that. This is true though, even people in Westeros are better educated in languages.

MVP of the North. It really sucks that he got his ear bitten off or whatever weirdass shit befell him. It also really sucks to be called out by a drunk fetus from Finland who knows English much better than you. Then again Roosey is using common sense, I'm just: Am I drunk?

Twice now I have observed that Westeros back plate armor needs some serious improvement. Theon and Howland had much too easy a time.

I hope Ramsay tries to "hunt" Osha like he did to that girl in season 4, but Osha with her super-sharp wildling instincts actually manages to elude him. Even Theon seems aware that there are ways to confuse Ramsay's hounds. And it would show Ramsay is not an invincible superhero all the time. Please

Alt Shift X makes the best videos (this one mentions CLEGANEBOWL so it could be he's more on board with the idea than in his CLEGANEBOWL video) Finally got time tonight to watch this one ... a longer one because 6x03 was so crammed full of new 'set up' scenes it took him a long while to wade through them all. I thought it was interesting how he noticed the parallel between Melisandre asking where Jon went while he was dead and he says "Nothing, there's nothing there" and so did Beric when she questioned him. He seems to think Melisandre is having her own existential crisis because she hopes/wants for word from this "Lord of Light" but there doesn't seem to be anyone there. Both Thoros and Melisandre are Red priests so something they have in common works in those words they speak (supposedly the same Valyrian words) ... I don't know if this mystery will ever be unraveled but it seems to me it's not religion that's doing it but straight up magic.

I don't know, I think that if the LoL were real and knew Jon and Beric were coming back, he would keep them in a limbo of sorts instead of sending them to the LoL heaven or whatever straight away. Or maybe they did go to that heaven and the LoL wiped out their memories for whatever reason before bringing them back.

I am always skeptical of the religious bits especially in a world where there are so many and each seems to have it's own special magical abilities. Well except for the Seven ... I haven't seen them do diddly squat for anyone.

Here's something curious I just found while perusing the interactive pages for HBO's "Game of Thrones Viewer's Guide" thingie... viewers-guide.hbo.com/game-of-thrones/season-6/episode-3/people/29/eddison-tollettDolorous Edd gets his very own Bio page now! I didn't know his real name was "Eddison" or that he joined the Night's Watch when he was 15. But what about this bit: "After his death and resurrection, Jon Snow named Edd acting Lord Commander of the Night's Watch until a proper election"

What kind of fucking drugs was I on in this thread before? As for Edd, I think it's pretty certain now that he'll be LC when the WW break through The Wall both in the show and the books.

So that would make Edd the 999th LC. Who will be 1000th? Or will there even be one...

Or maybe they did go to that heaven and the LoL wiped out their memories for whatever reason before bringing them back. Yeah, the "there was nothing" lines from Beric and Jon are tricky. I think it's the author's way of saying that life must be lived now, and they work well enough on those terms. Doesn't stand up to scrutiny when you think about it, though. First of all, if Jon remembers "there was nothing", there had to be something, because you can't remember something that doesn't exist. And if he truly remembers nothing, then there's no need to be emo about it. In his head, it's like he died and immediately woke up again. Either way, this statement is no proof that there are no gods, or even that there is no afterlife in this universe.

I just don't want her locked in a room getting Jeyne Poole'd.
