Fuck the Umber's so much!!! RIP Shaggydog  ToJ was amazing! Perfect casting for young Ned, and Arthur Dayne did not disappoint. What a badass! |

Damn. That episode was all over the place. Where last week flowed like honey, this one felt disjointed to me. Much slower in places. Also contained some seriously emotional moments with Jon Snow. I'm confused about a lot of it though.
The truth at Tower of Joy is partially NOT what we expected. Arthur Dayne stabbed in the back. But of course they cut it in half so we have to wait for the rest of the truth.
Did not like the scene with Tyrion and Missandei and Grey Worm. Too awkward.
No clue wtf Varys is up to sending the green woman away like that ...

I didn't really feel they were that necessary except for the Varys section. Somebody needs to fuck the Umbers like yesterday. How dare they kill our beloved Shaggydog, it's a travesty.I'm so upset at this. Also, does Jon leave before Sansa get to Castle Black? Because if so that will be fucked up. Can we get two Starks together in the same place, please. |

I was quite surprised they did long lingering shots of dead Olly and Alliser. They lingered a bit too long on Olly's face... I felt like the director was saying "Here you whiny bitches, here's your dead Olly, how's it feel now?!" haha. Ugh.  |

I thought they did a good job of handling the blivit problem.... except You are right the Tyrion and Missandei and Grey Worm served what purpose? The Varys scene was good with the woman, I guess he got his info from her, should have just had him come in sooner with Tyrion. |

Also, it sucks that his week's episode wasn't so strong because tonight I could actually stay up later to chat but there really isn't that much to discuss. Honestly the only really good parts were Jon's bits at the wall and Umber/Bolton/Karstark meeting even though it had a horrible ending. The rest of the episode was really quite mediocre. *edit: And yes. Tower of Joy was beautiful but I'm peeved they chopped it in half. |
