So it's 2013 SDCC all over again basically. I guess we'll find out via EW scoop articles or maybe it won't be announced at all (the casting calls didn't name them after all, so maybe they'll keep it really vague for as long as they can?)

True, but the only new major characters for Season 4 were Oberyn, Ellaria, and Mace. So there wasn't really a reason to make an announcement. This time we at least have 10 coming into play. Shame.

Can't wait to see what's up with the Greyjoy Uncle(s) in the trailer next year! *dies* I'm sure even without an announcement we'll be able to glean quite a bit about all of that from the shooting info. Which we'll start getting in ten days or so and we'll keep getting through to December. |

Crowded  I'm not one to get starstruck, but it is pretty surreal being in the same room with the cast that we follow all year round. This year felt a little different though compared to last year. I think getting the casting video last year has to do with it plus no Pedro this time around. He was hilarious last year. Plus no D&D or "Top tier" cast like Emilia/Peter/Kit/Lena/Nikolaj felt a little different. Still loved it all the same and it's great being around so many other enthusiastic fans. |

It's always been GAWK time never much of anything new, except for the New Cast reel , which did not get this year. I noticed Panel Packing this year, they always have quite a few but isn't this the most they have ever had? There is a method to that, with that many panelists there is hardly any time for anyone one to say anything, as if they were going to or even if they knew something new to say! These appearances have always been kind of run-it-up-the-flagpole and wave at everybody sort of thing. Don't know why anyone expects more. |

Or more likely the people who threw this video needed his permission to put his audition in a video like this and he denied it to them. He really doesn't like exposure other than his acting work, so I wouldn't have expected him to pop up in something like this. He's a stickler. |
