So excited! But I have too much to watch on Netflix right now lol. I'm in the middle of Mad Men and I want to check out Sense8 as well. I'm definitely going to put those on hold for this, though.

I liked Season 1 way more than Season 2. Hopefully this will be a return to form. And no Jason Biggs!

I'm on episode 7 of 13, planning to do all 13 today. I'm really liking this series - feels a bit better than season 2 (even though it was very good). A lot more back stories this season, including: Norma, Chang, some more Nicky, Big Boo are the only ones I've seen so far (I think). |

Spoilers for the last episode in case anyone else has watched it and wants to discuss: I think the scene at the end with the lake was just to increase everyone's sentence for the show to go on for longer, and I can't believe they didn't reveal Alex's fate - though I think she's alive, they wouldn't leave her fate over a season only for her to be revealed dead next season, they'd have shown her dead for the cliffhanger. A really good season, only a year until season 4! I always do this with Netflix shows, such as House of Cards. |

Almost done with Season 3, only two episodes left, and I'm absolutely loving it. This season has been a blast. Although I was kinda disappointed that ... ... Bennett left in the beginning of the season. I don't know, it felt like a very weak resolution to that particular storyline, and it just wasn't a very satisfying end to his and Daya's relationship. When they sang "Do You Hear the People Sing?" from Les Misérables, I just had to sing along ... |

5 episodes in and liking it way more than Season 2. Daya is still the weak link of the show though.

I just finished it up too. Overall, I thought the season was pretty good but I was not very impressed by the way some of the storylines were wrapped up. I thought the lake scene was good but I don't know how I feel about them ending with the new prisoners walking in. I was also a little disappointed by how Stella's arc played out although I really liked the character. I'm really sad about what happened with Daya's baby. I hope she doesn't get lost in Child Services. I really didn't care about Leanne, and I thought they dragged the Norma stuff out too long. Sophia and Gloria's conflict was great though. I really hope next season doesn't lead to a thing between Red and Healy because he's a piece of shit. Why couldn't they have gotten rid of him and kept Birdie? Even though I don't like Pennsatucky, I also enjoyed the bond that she and Big Boo made. I loved a lot the new background stories for the inmates we hadn't gotten yet. The thing I was most disappointed about was how they completely dropped Bennett and Nicky....I really hope that's not that last we've seen of them. I know Matt McGory's storyline was probably cause by his How To Get Away With Murder role but what's their explanation for Nicky? I don't think Alex is dead but that cliffhanger didn't sit well with me. Finally, Piper's a mess and her last scene was kind of proof of that haha.
When I saw Ms. Rosa in Caputo's flashback, it made me tear up. |

Just finished the season. Thought it was pretty great. Love this show so much! Really liked the flashbacks to all the different characters. Suzanne's Time Hump Saga pretty much sounds like the greatest thing ever!
Really no major complaints. Well, didn't like Nicky being gone, didn't really care about Bennett. Didn't really miss him much tbh.
The Norma cult did drag on a little too long, but it provided some pretty funny moments.
Poussey really grew on me this season, especially the last episode with Soso.
Loved Pipper burning Stella (gorgeous woman btw!), and pointing to her tattoo. She's turning into quite the little gangster with her used panties business.
Thought Caputo hate fucking Fig was pretty funny.
I honestly don't believe Alex is dead, but I'm interested to see how she got of that one.
Loved the Miss Rosa cameo in the flashback. |
