It may have had to do with them changing where and who they shot the wolves with. It could've been there was some sort of problem with the LA wolf-filming bit or something got too expensive or something like that. We also don't know what they had planned originally. Someone needs to sneak into that writing room and find out.

Not sure where else to stick this, so it goes in Jon Snow Resurrection because why the fuck not... best collection of Jon Snow death reactions for unsullied on youtube. "I'm done." haha. ETA: That actually wasn't the one I wanted to link but I'll leave it up ... here's the better one: (Now I can't find the one with the black woman who went off, she was hilarious) Could this be the black woman you're speaking of? I love her so much

I really hope Ghost is more involved this season. I'm not a master storyteller by any means, but I think a cold open of showing Ghost somewhat relaxed maybe snacking on a bone and then something changes in Ghost. Maybe his eyes changes a bit. Something to make the viewers think that not only that Ghost senses something terrible, maybe some angry growling and barking.
I don't need to see a vengeful Ghost take out the Nights Watch, I just want to him to be a part of his resurrection though.
In his last chapter, Jon calls out to Ghost right before he dies. I think him warging into Ghost until Melisandre and Edd takes his body would work well. Also if you notice the last scene of 5.10, the FTW crew walk away from Jon. They definitely just leave him there to be gathered.

They seem to have cut that whole thing, but it's possible they have saved it.

If Arya's warging's not in, why make her blind?

I have fantasies of all the remaining Starks learning to directly communicate through their dreams and finding each other that way.

Agree with all of you that we need more wolves and Ghost for s6 for sure - big disappointment on that in s5. I also agree it's quite difficult to do the warging in a convincing way (other than the white eye roll they do) because there's just no way to do an internal dialogue well on screen without cheesy voice overs. @witchy that's the woman, you found her! She's borderline nutty but I think it's mostly for show, she's hilarious going off on George for killing 'her people' ... "Why can't you kill somebody UGLY?!" ... haha. I was reading a reddit post about a little discussed warg dream Jon Snow has through Ghost while with the wildlings, I think before he killed Qorin Halfhand and it was interesting that Ghost was doing the narration... wondering why there were only 5 wolves not 6 ... poor Lady! (Greywind hadn't met his end yet) ... it works really well in text for the book but not on screen except for action sequences like Bran warging Summer to rip a throat out - they better damn well do that for Jon and Ghost dammit.

Krissychula on youtube. I stumbled upon her Red Wedding rant and have been checking in with her after major episodes since. She takes genuine emotions and lays on the hyperbole for laughs. She rants about lots of things. My favorite rant might be her one on double standards. Ghost missing Lady was so sad. I wonder if maybe the CGI thing that they haven't been able to do yet is something to do with the wolves. Maybe a wolf ripping out a throat or Giant Nymeria with her pack of hundreds.

Giant Nymeria and lots of wolves in a pack would be awesome. Arya warging needs to happen now while she's blind if it's going to happen at all - it's perfect timing. I got the impression whatever big SFX scene they wanted to do but haven't is massive like Hardhome type stuff so of course we assume it's more White Walkers or ice spiders or something (The wall going down?).... It *could* be weirwood greendream CGI with Bran too I suppose. Last on the list but completely viable is the burning of King's Landing with Wildfire that everyone thinks Cersei might do in s6. That would def. require a lot of CGI work. Oh and All three dragons doing something massive, gotta add that on there for potentials.

It can't be Wall coming down, because that couldn't have happened in Seasons 4 or 5.
Ice spiders is the thing they wanted to do.
Wall coming down/dragons is the new big thing.

Right, the wall going down wouldn't have been something they wanted to do in a previous season so it must be something more amazing with the white walkers. Could it be that they wanted to do Rhaegal and Viserion eating someone and breaking free to fly out and roost in the pyramids?

Ice spiders is my best guess for what they wanted to do and didn't do as well. Because of that shot where Wun Wun and company are inside the tent and then hear something coming across the roof. That would have been a perfect, super creepy way to introduce the spiders. I bet they couldn't get it right, so they boxed it and just did more skeletal wights.

I always assumed after he's resurrected Jon becomes the leader of the Wildlings. After Hardhome and his resurrection, he's earned the respect and fealty from them.
But in the books, I struggle to see this connection. Jon helps the Wildlings in the books, but it's subtle.
I would think the books and the show would have to line up for I see happening.
So here is my theory-of-the-day:
-Show demonstrates that Jon warged into Ghost Mel sees this in her fires. She (and Edd?) get his body. -The NW try to get Jon's body to burn it, but Edd dies helping Mel escape with Jon's body. -ToJ flashback by Bran. (Bran will have visions other other things before ToJ.) -Mel brings back Jon. She might or might not die with the Kiss of Life? Of course Shireen might have paid the price. Jon Targeryan is reborn. -Jon takes leadership of the Wildlings takes Winterfell -Wall comes down. NW destroyed.

Jon Targeryan is reborn. -Jon takes leadership of the Wildlings takes Winterfell -Wall comes down. NW destroyed. They did emphasize "King Crow" quite a few times at Hardhome, I remember. It definitely doesn't seem as much of a focus in the book so I never would have made that connection before they made it the central point of his story for the show. I have no idea what will happen. In the books, I assumed Jon would be resurrected, ride for Winterfell as he intended to do anyways, and then help restore Winterfell to his siblings by working with everything coming together in the Riverlands ... maybe even meeting LSH somewhere in there... possibly Jaime, Brienne, Sansa ... who the hell knows! But in the show, it really feels more like Jon will stay near the wall now and help the wildlings settle and prepare defenses against the Others (dragonglass, the wildlings know about this from their own lore we were reminded). Then again, with that big reveal on the Valyrian steel, this could take the story in a whole new direction as a quest to seek out all those with valyrian steel swords to try and unite the front against the Others.

Adding: I think the bond between Tormund and Jon was established for a reason in the show. Tormund will probably be the defacto leader of the Wildlings while Jon is their south of the wall ambassador of sorts. He'll negotiate with the other northerners on their behalf and help unite all of them in the common cause along with helping rid Winterfell of the vermin in there.

Ohhh... so Snowbowl refers to Jon Snow vs. Ramsay Snow? Now THAT I could get behind as a good fight! Well, SNOWBOWL actually is NW, wildlings, Stannis' wight, White Walkers, LF, northern lords, Wyman Manderly etc against the Boltons. The name refers to Jon vs Ramsay, though. But the real SNOWBOWL in the show will propably be LF, northern lords and Boltons. No Jon.
