Wait this thing has zombies now? I don't think so? Unless they added that because it wasn't in the book They have weird mutant creatures again like they did in the first and second films, but no zombies.

I was referring to these weird mutant creatures (=mutts) but they looked like zombies in this film and since mutts are made from the bodies of dead people, I just called them zombies

I watched the movie over the weekend. It was good, very faithful to the books as most of the movies have been. Overall, it's one of the best novel-to-film series I've watched. I'm happy with the gritty, dark ending, it was what I was expecting.

I have a Hunger Games idea - how about we retcon Mockingjay and have Katniss and Gale get together.

This was WAY BETTER than part one. And now I am sad about not being guaranteed a JLaw movie every year. Movie: 7/10 JLaw: 12/10

As overbearing as Jennifer Lawrence can be in interviews, she absolutely kills it on screen. Especially in Part 2.

I saw it today and I loved every second of it. It was pretty much everything I expected, very faithful to the books, dark and gritty - and the acting from all the actors was absolutely superb, Donald Sutherland and Jennifer Lawrence in particular. And I loved the ending. What really got me was the scene where Effie and Katniss say goodbye to each other ("Goodbye, my girl." ) and the scene with Prim's cat. And good gracious, Liam Hemsworth is so fucking hot, like ... ridiculously hot. If I were Katniss, I'd bang him at least once.

Basil I'm glad you liked it, but even you have to praise Josh Hutcherson. He was really, really good in that movie.

When I was reading the book, I really, really wanted Katniss to just shoot Peeta in the face at the end of THG and get it over with. And I really hoped that she would mercy-kill him in CF. Having said that, I don't particularly like Gale either. The one thing I really don't like about THG as a franchise is really terrible love triangle.

Also, JHutch does pretty good by not coming off as a piece of cardboard next to Lawgend
