You know that vision Dany had of herself walking into the throne room, and it had been badly burned? I've wondered if that was done by Dany herself (her dragons) or by wildfire. Now I'm thinking, that was Cersei's doing. Dany finaly arrives in KL, and the Lannisters have taken themselves out. She walks in and claims an empty throne. And then the Wall falls down, and the White Walkers flood Westeros. Yep it's been speculated a lot that maybe that burned throne room was actually caused by wildfire if Cersei goes nuts and decides to tap the cache of wildfire Aerys left everywhere. One way or another, that wildfire is definitely going to be involved somewhere in the future because they sure emphasized it enough in Bran's visions. As I said in my other reply to you though, I'd much rather see that massive firepower used against the army of undead than just burning down King's Landing. That seems like a waste of badly needed ammo. TWD teaches us to conserve ammo!! I don't think Cersei is a...conservationist. But, you are right! That could be an important weapon. If it exists, more can be made. Maybe that's another thing Sam will have a hand in doing.

So this shot of what's clearly Drogon flying over a city ... is that King's Landing? All the houses/rooftops are 'smoking' but I don't see any flames. Also, if Drogon or the other dragons were burning a city, we'd see obvious scorch damage from the outside right? This is a curious image indeed. I was first at denial due to the fact that the Lannisters may die before Dany arrive. But then i realized Dany may be taking over fAegon's role in becoming the new king in Winds. So this is plausible. But i don't think the smoke is due to the wildfire. I believed it's a bloodbath and war happening among King's Landing, peasants and the Faith Militant fighting and all that. So Dany is maybe swooping in to save the day?

Rewatching some scenes - aww Bran and Meera holding each other thinking they're going to die. It reminded me of Ron and Hermione in The Deathly Hallows. That damn dragon flying over the city. I remember thinking it was just a promotional clip and nothing really to do with the show. (TWD did that, the entire group standing around a fire at the prison that was never showed)

Benjen: Of course I would prefer him alive, meanwhile, he is at the stage of stopping the process of dying by dragonglass and CotF. Still it's better than another dead Stark. And this explains how he stayed "alive" behind the Wall for so long.
But there is something in his characterization that makes me wonder whether his blue hands and face with strange scars (?) are symptoms of frostbite, regular changes in the wight ... or changes in the next sort of Night King figure? It seems to me that these changes progressing slowly. His hands resemble those WW hands more than the hands of a wights, and to this issue of dragonglass... that's how CotF created the Night King. I will die with laughter and sadness if after possible winning the war, it turns out, the Benjen become the next Night King. Is this some sort of Stark's curse?
Edit: But maybe at the end Children's intentions are the most important: Night King has become evil because he was created in this way, to fight with people, and Benjen was "created" to help Bran, so maybe he will remain good. And probably it's just about mix Benjen and Coldhands into one character.

She'll do it because she's gone mad. I agree with @witchy as well with Dany walking through a destroyed Throne Room with ash and snow falling from the ceiling after Cersei has burned the city with wildfire parallel to her vision in the HotU. So what's your take on that photo of dragon shadow from the vision quest? Why are the rooftops smoking but no fire or damage? Is that King's Landing?

Bran saw that exact shot (only for longer) in his vision back in ep. 402. It was also in the s4 trailer. Its of a dragon flying over KL.

Why the smoke but no fire damage? I'm going to keep poking until someone gives me some sort of plausible theory here.

As for the smoke, they also showed that in the establishing shot in 5x06 when LF arrived to meet Cersei. Ninja'd by @konradsmith. I took too long this time.

Yep. Which according to certain youtube comments makes it automatically bad. They're also ripping Dany apart. And complaining about Marge not having a walk of atonement because they wanted to see the bewbs. Nothing makes me despair the species like fucking youtube comments.

Why the fuck do you guys look at youtube comments? I really have no idea, but the comments on the promo are brutal, which is funny considering the amount of likes it has.
