Screenshots of Bran's vision! imgur.com/a/yT0AHEDIT: I guess not all of them but it'll do for now.

My favourite thing about this episode was the return of the Freys and the Tullys. Finally we'll get some version of the Riverlands story arc. And they even mentioned the Brotherhood without Banners. R'hllor ... please. Horn Hill was great, they did such an amazing job with the casting, seriously ... Randyll Tarly is perfect. I hated him before he even opened his mouth. And please give me more Dickon ... kthx I loved Dany's scene, and holy shit, Drogon has gotten huge, but I wish they hadn't ended this episode with yet another epic Dany moment. It's getting a bit repetitive. LOVED everything King's Landing. King Tommen, the Beloved and the Blessed. I'm only moderately excited about Benjen's return. The scene where he reveals himself did very little for me, to be honest. They're bringing everyone back, Jon, Gregor, even Benjen. Everyone, except the one character that matters the most to me. It's hard not to get frustrated by that. Anyway ... Tbh, I've largely given up on ever seeing Stoneheart, but the return of the Freys and the Tullys gave me goosebumps. It's all there. It would be really easy now...

But she also has a giant fire breathing dragon to control them. What did you think about what Daarion said to her? The part about her being a conqueror and not a ruler? Eh, I dunno ... Daario says a lot of things. But in a way it's true, she's best when she's defeating opposition rather than politics. But that's why she'll have a lot of help/support from team North (we hope) in the future. I would love to see Davos advising her alongside Tyrion haha. Oh, it's definitely true, but I feel like they pigenhole her. It's not like she can't do it, she's just better at kicking ass and taking names. But I just found it funny that they just went out and stated something that a lot of fans harp over.

I never said I didn't like the scene. I only said that I would have preferred a different ending to the episode, because this one felt a bit underwhelming to me due to the repetitiveness. I'm not saying it was bad, I'm only pointing out how I would have liked it even better. Episode Opens: Mystery man saves Bran Episode Ends: Mystery man is Uncle Ben. Benjen is now Bad Ass zombie Warrior/White Walker. Only Bran can stop the Night's King.
That formula works better than cutting away across the world. Mirror opening with ending. Bam. Except ... I don't think that part is true. The bigger picture seems to reach far beyond some single hero "Prince that was promised" don't you think? Why have Sam steal Heartsbane? It's all a clue my friend... this is like the "dream team" coming together. Bran, Meera and Benjen. Sansa and the Northerners. Jon and his Wildlings. Robin and his Vale Men (LOL). Daenerys and her Dothraki/Dragons. It's all part of something much bigger. Bran's importance is definitely significant, he's now the Three Eyed Raven. But he's not the only one who will stop the Night King and the Others. It will take everyone doing their part. Ice and Fire.

A lot of whining about the clearly more epic scene being chosen for the ending. Repetitive or not.

I have to reiterate how good Dany looked on top of Drogon, they really did an awesome job with the CGI. Much better now than last year, including the pre-flight before the landing. I wish it had been this good last year, it would have made Daznak's so much more epic.

As long as she doesn't burn my faves I'm afraid the Tyrells are toast. Not happy about it myself. I'm afraid of the same. And I am hoping my fears will not pass. She's done more than any other character thus far. It's just been in Essos. Yeah I know lol. But since it's been so far removed from literally everything else, I've always struggled to get into it. I don't really see Mereen playing much of a part in the end game I think this is part of my problem. Yes, she's done a lot, but she is also far removed from the main action at this point...although this season they are starting to tie her into it. But she also has a giant fire breathing dragon to control them. What did you think about what Daarion said to her? The part about her being a conqueror and not a ruler? Eh, I dunno ... But that's why she'll have a lot of help/support from team North (we hope) in the future. I would love to see Davos advising her alongside Tyrion haha. I don't know how accurate Daario will prove to be in the long run but I can understand why he said she was a conquerer and not a ruler...I think he's seen her conquer more than she's actually ruled. I always thought she would give her life for Westeros (in the books) but I don't think that's going to happen in the show. The part about her being a conqueror and not a ruler? Eh, I dunno ... Daario says a lot of things. But in a way it's true, she's best when she's defeating opposition rather than politics. But I just found it funny that they just went out and stated something that a lot of fans harp over. If she gets a good team around her, her reign will be long and eventually prosperous. Given the way things are going in Westeros right now, it might be good that she will not only be a conquerer and ruler but also a rebuilder.

A lot of whining about the clearly more epic scene being chosen for the ending. Repetitive or not. That 'epic' scene depends entirely on what you're attachment to a character is. Just saying. The Bran scene, chronologically made more sense. But of course, Drogon was just napping over the hill.

Calling it now. The Nights King will be defeated by stabbing him with dragonglass and he will turn human again.
The other WWs disintegrated because they were never human. They are Crasters sons immediately turned to monsters. But the NK himself was originally a man.

I don't imagine we'll see this scene again in detail, it was probably supposed to be just quick glimpses, so you don't need another actor for young Jaime if his face can't even be seen very well. And that shot of the wildfire explosion is fedinitely definitely from the future, like TMQ said. Edit: oops, accidental dyslexia

So most of the WW could have been originally human like the Night's King.

It was the least "badass" of all her "Dany is so badass" scenes IMHO.

So, some of the shots from Bran's vision were of Hardhome, or so it looked like. But new shots from what we saw, as though from the perspective of the Night King. So perhaps the Night King marked him and the connection between the two works both ways?

The best speeches are all modified book speeches.

I thought Dany's last scene was good, but it was kind of funny how she was like "I'll be right back, guys" and then she returns riding on Drogon. The CGI was a lot better than Daznak's Pit though. However, I think the Twins might have been a better ending since it looks like 607 will open with Riverrun.
