But Craster's sons turned into WW. So most of the WW could have been originally human like the Night's King. Yeah maybe idk I just excitment-induced blabber mouth rn. It's not a bad theory though! Except, Meera and Sam both killed White Walkers with dragonglass and they didn't turn back into humans so it's probably only something specific to magic the CotF can do. But maybe Bran can figure that out and that's how he helps?

So, some of the shots from Bran's vision were of Hardhome, or so it looked like. But new shots from what we saw, as though from the perspective of the Night King. So perhaps the Night King marked him and the connection between the two works both ways? Harry Potter and Voldemort say hi. Haha, yeah as I was typing I kept thinking; I'm sure this sounds familiar...

A lot of whining about the clearly more epic scene being chosen for the ending. Repetitive or not. I liked it much more than her other closing scene this season I did too actually. Only for the fact that the dragon riding looked so much better than Daznak's. The temple scene was probably better overall though.

It's funny to see how Bran went from "the most boring character ever" to absolute MVP of the Season for most Unsullied watchers.

Interesting to note, since Benjen has a horse with him, do you think it's the same one that Bran is riding?

Guys, can we just have a moment of joyful silence for an episode without Peter Dinklage? (I have nothing against Peter, btw, but it was the right decision to leave him out this time. )

A lot of whining about the clearly more epic scene being chosen for the ending. Repetitive or not. That 'epic' scene depends entirely on what you're attachment to a character is. Just saying. The Bran scene, chronologically made more sense. But of course, Drogon was just napping over the hill. And I would think the vast majority of show fans are more attached to Dany, than Benjen.

I guess I'm ok with Cersei and Jaime never actually breaking up. They can be in love with each other till they die.

It was the same lame rumor bs as "Emilia won't do nude scenes it's in her contract!" Some people read way too much TMZ gossip articles methinks.

So perhaps the Night King marked him and the connection between the two works both ways? Connecting the dots, I really think that Mad King knew or saw some vision of the Night's King with his Targ blood. He became obsessed and paranoid because he understood so little about it and started burning People because he didn't understand about Wights. So when he screamed burn them all, it was a wierd Defense mechanism. He became afraid of people being around him, which is noted in the lore, and he only trusted his KG, even more than his son. Not to mention Rhaegar's wierd fixation with Stannis Jon Azor Ahai. Where did that one come from? He saw something, the Targaryens are notorious for visions and prophetic dreams. White Walkers are pretty important to miss in the scope of time and space and whatnot.

So looking forward to Sam carrying Heartsbane on his back indefinitely. (Hopefully till the end of the series).

They can just be star crossed lovers I suppose

The title was spot-on this week, too. I mean we had Sam and his family, Dany and her thousand bloodriders, Bran and his Uncle Benjen, Margaery getting help from her family, Walder being a dick to his family, Arya not letting go of hers... And whatever the fuck Cersei and Jaime were doing in that scene.

What was most effective about the Tarly dinner scene was having Randyll just sitting there giving dirty looks for the first few minutes, so you're waiting to hear how he sounds and what kind of dickish thing he's going to say, but you're made to keep waiting for it. Until he starts talking down to Sam and it just escalates into pure, glorious cruelty. Great casting.
