BTW for what it's worth Summer was in the background during the Bran scene where he sneaks into the weirnet and gets marked. He was sleeping in the background. Which won't sate the anger of the Summer-should've-featured-more grassroots-and-pitchforks movement...but it's something anyways. I am getting more and more convinced that only one direwolf will survive. I personally think it will be Nymeria, but of course lots of people seem to think we will never see her again so she needs to be reintroduced before anyone will agree with me. But Jon is not destined to be a Stark forever. Logically it does not make sense for Jon to be the one left with a direwolf as the symbol of house Stark. Arya on the other hand is Stark to the bone, and has hints in her story about being some kind of queen. IMO these hints only make sense if you factor in Nymeria, the queen of the wolves, gatherer of strays. Via Nymeria she is already a queen.

At least Summer went out fighting. Lady, Greywind, and Shaggy didn't even get that.

At least Summer went out fighting. Lady, Greywind, and Shaggy didn't even get that. That's why I'm not sad about it tbh. That's how a direwolf should go out. Killing skeletal motherfuckers. That's a good clean death. Hodor too, died an awesome death. What gets under my skin about Hodor's death, isn't how he went but that he knew about it since he was a kid and lived loyally for one purpose his entire life. He's the definition of "you had one job!" and he did it. God bless him.

so did Jaqen actually admit that the Faceless Men caused the Doom of Valyria? idt anyone could get that without knowing it was a book fandom theory.

It's also my absolute favourite thing when Dave and Dan explicitly reveal that a big plot point came directly from a conversation with George. Only because it pisses off certain unnamed crazy people so insanely. "When George told us..." is the thing I'm crossing my fingers to hear on every Inside the Episode clip. I think it interesting , until the Shireen reveal by David they had kind of avoid saying explicitly they had a spoiler directly from George. I think it was at the Oxford Union panel they started apologizing for spoilers and deviations. David said explicitly that all the deviation would make sense* when we get to the end, which I guess is Season 8? *Whatever that means.

My feeling with Sansa was that she didn't want help from LF as she knows that he'll want something in return and she knows Jon is highly unlikely to survive LF's political shenanigans. She probably also thought that they'd have the support of all of the northern houses so there was no need for help from the Vale. However, keeping LF alive could be helpful with the knowledge he might help. If Jon knew he'd try and get LF to help, he doesn't know enough about LF. It is going to cost a lot of lives in the long run and she may have to sacrifice something to get his help. I still think he'll want her hand in marriage. Just had another brainwave. Heads off to Leaks. What I don't understand is why would anyone back up Sansa. Last week she was all humble and supporting Jon. I was all excited she was finally becoming likable. I thought she is gonna take the backseat and let him do the talking. This week she goes on how she has a Stark name, keeps things a secret from Jon and lashes out on LF even though he apparently didn't know about Ramsay and marrying him was Sansa's choice Jon, Ned Stark's son convincing the Northeners to fight and them joining - YES. Sansa Stark who married a son of a man who killed her brother and a King asking for help - you've gotta be kidding me. We don't really know that, but she was justified in scalding for not knowing. Ramsay's deeds and nature would be no secret from anyone in the North, if LF intel net could not pick up on that really seems stupid on his part.* Willingly married him? *By the by the show is way off book unless GRRM gets this marriage in , in WoW. Like your avatar! A lot!

Love how the episode raises as many questions as it answers. We still don't know what the hell the white walkers are - what is driving them. The children of the forest were using some form of magic to transform the guy but they were not "creating" the white walker, they're not gods. So there's probably something to the Great Other after all. What it does tell me is that the children betrayed what they stood for. Look how the landscape changes from past to future. And eventually paid the price for it. But the big mystery behind it all is still not solved. Have to wonder if George will explain what the Others are up to? In the books it is implied that The Great Other is the polar opposite of R'hllor , cold-dark god vs. fire god. Don't seem to have The Great Other show wise .... no explaining why gods do what they do. Are there 11 White Walkers left . or 10 plus the Night's King? Can the Night's King be killed with Dragon Glass and Valyrian steel?

Other than feeling utterly depressed between the Dany/Jorah scene and Hodor death, is it me or does the guy playing Euron suck? Very dissapointed with his portion of the Kingsmoot. Euron had way too many drinks. He strikes me as the perfect brash, crude, cocky presence to lead the Ironborn. They're not particularly subtle, or nuanced creatures. The things that appeal Theon and Yara to us as characters are precisely what would turn off the Ironborn. The ease that they were swayed back and forth so easily seems pretty accurate for a society that drowns people and worships CPR.

Kinda small for a direwolf, if you ask me… " "Sackheim: Your right it does seem small. I had the same question, but I was assured by the creature maker that was responsible for crafting the head that it was the correct size. Good question." That leaves some weird info hanging.

I couldn't tell but looked as if the whole damn fleet , well at Pyke, was going out to sea. Yara and Theon are off to Essos? We can guess why, maybe they will discuss it later?

They give their explanation for why Sansa lied to Jon and didn't tell him she met Littlefinger in the Inside-the-episode video: I'm not really buying it though. Also, wouldn't Jon have known if Sansa and Brienne just decided to ride out of Castle Black to visit Mole Town? I see what they are saying about Sansa but I don't understand why she would hide that from Jon. I think Sansa knows that Jon would murder Littlefinger if he finds out that he gave her to the Boltons and that she's still speaking to him. Littlefinger was an authority figure, a rescuer, and she shared kisses with him. It's a messed up relationship, but she's not ready to see him killed just yet. She lied to protect Petyr.

In the books we know the FM founded Braavos to escape slavery in Valyria. Dany is a strict abolitionist. Never found out what the FM think of a 'Valyrian' who is this. My speculation for a while is that they would become allied with Dany. (I can't figure the show's take on Braavos, always figured the Iron Bank, FM and Braavos in general would be allied with Dany in the Great War against the Darkness beyond the Wall.)

Like your avatar! A lot! I saw Sansa ride into Winterfell, bow to Roose and then marry Ramsay in Godswood. Which part wasn't her willingly marrying him? LF acted stupid but Sansa should have assumed the son of a man who betrayed his King is not good news. She is blaming the entire world for her mistakes. I wish Lyanna Mormont told her to fuck off.

By the by if she ever tells Royce what happen he would kill LF.

I'm gonna rewatch the episode in a minute. Also: Sansa married Ramsay, because LF persuaded her that this would be how she could destroy the Boltons from within and reclaim Winterfell. She did it for her family - not against her family. Of course the plan did not work, but these were her intentions.

He presented her with idiotic idea based on apparently, what the writers want us to believe, zero research. So LF is just a fool, not a mischievous monster who knew Ramsay was a psycho and sent Sansa there. Sansa agreed to marry a traitor and betrayed her family name, her inheritance and the North. She gave Boltons legitimate reason to hold WF. That she thought she can trick them by being snarky during dinners excuses nothing. And now she has audacity to act like she has right to Winterfell, she lost that right. She should stay quiet and back and support Jon, not trying to upstage him. Hearing her talk of North and being a Stark made me nauseous.

The Kingsmoot sucked. I'm glad it was shorter, because those chapters in AFfC felt like an eternity. And wtf are a bunch of the Iron Born okay with kinslaying? You're telling me that powerful and intelligent men like Tywin Lannister and Roose Bolton avoided this because it's so taboo, but the fucking Iron Born are just like "nahh! No biggie." Yes, I feel the Ironborn have been consistently portrayed as being quite stupid and ineffective in most of their endeavors. They really have accomplished nothing of importance in the book or the show. The only reason they had any success in their invasion of the North is because they were attacking undefended territories. The Ironborn are easily manipulated with some mild chest-thumping and are willing to throw their lives away for pride. "Did you pay the iron price for that trinket?" Give me a break. I always thought Yara's failed attack on the Dreadfort was perfectly in-line with other Ironborn escapades. Their form of worship is drowning each other, Victarion was outwitted by a monkey for crying out loud. Ramsay summed it up perfectly when he reminded Theon that Krakens crumple into nothing on the land. Euron is probably going to be more of the same, which is why I enjoyed his oafish bragging at the Kingsmoot. Everybody should re-read AFFC and pay attention to the insecurities beneath the surface of Euron Greyjoy.

I'm still depressed. I don't understand Sansa lying to Jon. I'm glad Brienne called her out on it because I think it's a stupid move, but she's still learning how to be a bamf, I guess. She won't be perfect. I liked the touch of her giving Jon matching armour like Ned wore. Still doesn't make up for the lie, but it was sweet. No biggie." I liked Kingsmoot sequence. After the whole of Dorne rallying around Ellaria even though she is a kinslayer I didn't mind Euron gaining extra cred for "I KILLED THE PREVIOUS KING I'M SO AWESOME' part
