Season 6, episode 5: “The Door” will premiere on Sunday, May 22nd.

Synopsis: Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) learns a great deal. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) goes on a mission. Arya (Maisie Williams) is given a chance to prove herself.

This episode is written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss and directed by Jack Bender. The episode will be Bender’s debut with GoT.

I'm very very very excited for the Kingsmoot, they look like they are going to execute it well.

It will be good to see Sansa confront Littlefinger about Ramsay, hopefully it doesn't just end in a "no i didn't know" "lol ok nvm then" cop out.

The HoB&W scenes look good enough.

Mereen looks like it will finally pick up, good to see more R'hllor adherents.

Bran storyline looks good.

It's interesting that we get the Sansa/LF interaction so soon. Since she goes to Bear Island, I assume she basically tells LF to fuck off and wait for her to call the KotV when they're needed.

They're ramping up the Sansa character power-up this season.
