Seeing as how the preview opens with LF and Sansa, do we think it'll continue the pattern we've seen in previous previews and be (one of) the opening scene(s)?

Yeah, the children look way better this series And that is similar, tho not exactly, the original design, which they did not use S4. The CoF in season 4 was a girl painted green who could throw energy balls. Too anime.

Does seem to be a reliable pattern but it really seems jolting to have LF show up at the wall that rapidly after having just been with Royce and Sweetrobin in the Vale. That horse and carriage he showed up in must have rockets on the back!

I like that Sansa asks LF about Ramsay. I that was a bit of plot logic that didn't make sense. That LF , master schemer, had zero intel on Ransay, or even thinking that Roose could control Ramsay. Like to hear his answer.

Like to hear his answer. I suspect just like everything else, it's a lie if he claims he didn't know what a monster Ramsay was. I also suspect Sansa is finally going to recognize his lying and manipulation for what it really is.

A rocket which must have been faulty from 507 through to 604 considering we haven't seen him at all and he seemed to just get back to the Vale

Considering none of the timelines are in the same place and he's had such a gap between episodes, it shouldn't be too hard to assume the scene from the last episode actually took place long before the one in the upcoming episode. It just made sense plotwise, and thematically, for it to be in the same episode that we get our first hints of resistance against Ramsay.

Guessing it was originally and moved. Still, this bothers people much more than me. It's like we assume if there is an episode gap, the character had time to travel, when some scenes can happen weeks/months or moments after the last time they appeared.

Actually I would've liked that scene a lot more if LF didn't yet know that Sansa has escaped Winterfell. Because that way it could potentially happen around the same time as the premiere.

Anyway, I think this episode will tell as a lot about the origin of both WW and CotF.

Yeah I agree , it's an old cinema operational procedure , the implication is that a character moved from point A to point B and in certain amount and we didn't see it. Actually I don't want to see the travels. (Jean-Luc Godard did something about this in the 1950s, one would see some one start at the bottom of some stairs , cut, camera was at the top of the stairs with the character, no climbing shown.)

So this episode is confirmed to have Wall, Meereen, Iron Islands, Arya, Bran, and LF. I assume we'll also see Dany because it would be weird not to show her after that ending. Winterfell most likely skips this one, I could see KL also being left out. I dunno about Sam & Gilly, that depends on whether their meeting with the Tarlys is in this episode or 6x06.

The episode looks amazing. Most interesting stuff yet for Bran, Arya and the Iron Islands. And possibly Meereen.

I think if you assume that different plotlines are moving at different speeds in terms of time, you can justify much of the travel issues on the show. The books do this constantly but it's difficult for us to do this watching on television since we are conditioned to absorb the scenes in a very linear fashion.
If you can suspend your disbelief that characters can get to places in Westeros as quickly or slowly as the plot requires them to (which has been a thing going back to S1), then you should be fine. Still complaining about it six seasons in seems to be a little counterproductive.

I wonder what the final scene of the episode could be. Judging from the pomo, I guess they are adapting the Kingsmoot. So it could be that. The other possibility is Bran and whatever vision he has. Any different ideas?

Yeah, that would be cool, but I have a feeling it will turn out to be Bran's vision about the NK.
