I swear someone was watching Tyrion and Varys while they were walking, but I can't figure out who. There was definitely someone looking at them from behind that broken lattice thing.

Goddammit, I still can't get over Ramsay telling the maester to feed Myranda to the hounds, this kind of stuff is why I love him so much You have issues man.

The beggar thinking Tyrion wanted to eat her baby was also good dark humor tbh.

Oh come on, you're being way too sensitive! His random acts of cruelty and his insane antics are so absurd it's hilarious to watch, and I just can't hate him because of that

Melisandre's last scene was amazing by the way. I loved how both the beginning and ending of the episode took their time to really drive home the impact. Her last scene is one of my favorite closing scenes of this show. It's basically an old lady going to bed when you get down to it, which makes it even more amazing. The acting, directing and the whole mood is wonderful.

Great episode overall,
Loved Jonathan Pryce, as usual I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Meereen/Dany story as I'm usually indifferent to it That final scene really surprised me - I wonder if Davos will find her like that next episode
But Dorne... what a travesty...

Apart from Dorne, most people seemed to enjoy the other scenes. Also, there is another thread for actual discussion, and it's a much more level-headed thread in general. The worst is the unmarked spoilers neogaf thread though - those guys pick on every single detail that they dislike and judge based of that, especially some prominent users there. I don't see any discussion of things that they actually like. It resembles westeros.org and TotH a lot to me.

The only positive review I saw was on Playlist but Playlist is almost as idiotic as HitFix or whatever it is called

Most of the reactions I've seen on twitter and GoT's FB page have been positive, and NYT, IGN, etc all gave positive reviews. (do we have a shrug emoticon by the way?) Anyways, gotta go back to studies. Really excited to see Bran again next week.

I haven't watched the episode yet. Will do it later in the day. But is the Mel scene a continuity error after all?
