Me and the husband are going to try to watch the whole thing tonight. From the trailer, Depp did a great job. I was on the fence about Deadpool, but I am hearing great things about it from everyone who has seen it, so I am going to see if me and the husband will catch it tomorrow while we are kid free! day dreamer, Deliverance pretty much made me anti-camping. |

So Deadpool was completely amazing! Funniest movie I've seen since What We Do In The Shadows. From the opening credits to the very end it's just brilliant. Minor some good cameos like Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld at the merc bar and Stan Lee as a DJ at a strip club  Some nice pokes at Wolverine Origins and the X-Men times lines. Loved Colossus, and Deadpool's shot about only being able to afford one X-Man was good. Post credit scene teases a Deadpool/Cable movie which I really, really hope is happening. Just a really fun movie. Probably in my top 5 comic movies. Exciting! I go see it in 4 hours. |

I want to see Deadpool but Kick Ass is 1. the worst movie I've seen 2. reprehensible piece of shit

Deadpool does look like fun. I'll probably wait for it to hit HBO or whatever in like 6 months to watch it. I worry Im gonna miss all the references since I haven't watched a full marvel movie since Tobey Maguire spider man 2 and don't know shit about x men either.

We had The Witch as one of our trailers too. Now I have another tough choice next weekend between Hail Caesar and The Witch. Bunch of good movies coming out lately, one of those good problems.  |

@daveyjoe are you planning to see Deadpool? I'm interested to hear what you think about the editing, if you do. In hindsight I'm realizing it was huge in making the movie, but I wasn't thinking about that while watching because I was really immersed.

I want to see it because R rated action movies are so rare, but I'm more interested in The Witch, and I'm skeptical that I can get my drunken ass to the movies twice in one month. Good editing serves the story without drawing attention to itself. So it makes sense that you wouldn't notice it while watching. |
