Yeah I have no idea where you got the incest part from. Unless you think Kylo was lying, but hearing people say that makes me think of the stories of how people didn't believe Vader was Luke's father until Obi-Wan confirmed it. I mean JJ could backtrack on this whole thing, but I really hope he doesn't. Not gonna lie, I'd watch a whole movie of just Ben and Rey. I think Daisy and Adam are incredible when put together. While I wouldn't say I'm hoping for or even expecting a romance, I certainly wouldn't object to it. They work well enough together for me to buy into it.
Their connection reminded me a fair bit of Revan and Bastila's bond from KOTOR. And Luke's detachment from the Jedi had me thinking of Jolee Bindo. Obviously the context for both of those references is very different, but I thought the ideas were pretty similar.

Eh, I'm not saying it was bad. It just presents an opportunity for more emo Kylo Ren jokes.
Maybe I'm still in the mindset that there has to be some kind of cliche plot twist moment. I still feel like it's all gonna come back on us that Rey has to be somebody. The idea of her being nobody seems a little un-star wars. There's always some over dramatic twist. "There was no father", "No, I am your father." And I'm certainly not against a break in the formula, but it conditions the audience to react in a certain way.

based on interviews I think Rian Johnson certainly intends “daughter of nobodies” to be the end of it, but is aware that Abrams has charge of the next film and can backtrack if he wants to and Kennedy allows it. Feels a bit like a pissing contest between the two actually, since RJ seems to have deliberately undermined some of what Abrams was setting up in TFA
