Also the girl's (Alice?) boyfriend disappearinh. Could be dead, could be not. I fully expected some zombies to attack Travis at the church. I thought her text to him when he didn't show up for their date was hilarious: "You better be dead..."  |

I thought it was good. It's an interesting perspective to see everything that happened at the beginning. I hope they put off the total ZA for as long as they can. Frank Dillane was amazing though. Talent runs in that family. I found him and his Johnny Depp impression pretty annoying tbh. Amazing is hardly the word I'd use for his performance. We tend to disagree most of the time though so no big suprise.  It came off as a cheap imitation of Depp meets James Franco's stoner routine. |

I don't have any other television I'm watching right now in the off season for all my favorites anyways. 6 episodes of this will be like an appetizer for TWD.  |

I liked it, I didn't love it. I wanted to like Frank Dillane's character but I just kept praying a zombie would eat him. Maybe he gets better as time goes on.

But hey, anyways - I might watch Hannibal ... haven't decided yet. It could be a binge-worthy one esp since it's over now. I don't get all the Dillane hate. Man, he's far cry better than Kit and Emilia were at the start. |

It's not Dillane's performance I hate...he's not bad. I just can't stand the character. I am sure the character is going to have the biggest change as this show goes on...but right now the junkie screw up is just annoying to me, which I guess is how he is supposed to be at this point in the show. |

Well yeah, I do think the entire point of the character is to make you both despise him and also pity him a little maybe. I find his sister's bitchy teenage angst attitude far worse though to be honest. She reminds me exactly of the teenage girl in Humans who I can't stand either. Really I don't feel much connection to any of the protagonist family's characters yet. Maybe Travis. He seems like a real TWD type survivor to me. The rest of them are over-acting the ignorance thing. |

Kit was really crappy at times in Seasons 1 and 2. Really, it wasn't until Season 4 he started to stand off. (He's still not among the best actors of the show in my eyes). Emilia was IMO better in Season 1 than in some scenes today. |
