This cutscene is awesome  Although it is also exceptionally irritating because it's unskipable, SUPER-long and just before you fight probably the toughest storyline boss in the game. Nonsense. Yunalesca is a cakewalk.  Just play by her rules and don't cure Zombie, then she becomes ridiculously easy. This guy on the other hand ... Lol actually now that you mention it, Spectral Keeper has given me approx. 10 million game overs but I think Yunalesca has only given me one or two |

Huh. I loved X-2's story. I thought the love thing between Lenne and Shuyin was cute and really sad and even Vegnagun kinda made sense in lore. |

The new FF14 expansion is probably the story I've enjoyed most since FF7, it's pretty epic and reminds me of ASOIAF in the ways that it turns fantasy cliches on their head.

But I guess ya'll don't like MMOs. Multi...Player? What does this word mean? More than one player. Preposterous. There are some games that just shouldn't be MMOs tbh. Then again, I still haven't played TOR, and it's free now. But KotOR>TOR... Also, TES Online happened. So yeah, I distrust MMOs. |

Speaking of FFX, they should make it into a movie trilogy. That would be awesome. And Macalania would basically ensure that they had the cinematography OSCAH all locked up.

Yeah, Final Fantasy 10 would make for a good movie trilogy. I also genuinely believe FF6 has the potential to be an incredible TV show. Just imagine a TV show version of that game with the same production value as Game of Thrones - just thinking about it gives me the biggest nerd boner of my entire life. And the intro could be some variation of Terra's Theme with some cool steampunk imagery ... omg, this needs to happen.  |

I was just giving an example of an MMO that went off of an existing game franchise that some people felt went wrong. I'm not saying that FF14 went wrong. Im saying that when a franchise that is traditionally a storybased, single player RPG is turned into an MMO, pre existing fans feel that details of the original franchise gets obscured or that the experience becomes different since the player isn't experiencing it in the same way they did before. That's not to take anything away from MMOs or anything like that. |
