Oh noes!! I'm here for you in your time of need. But seriously, that really sucks! How long did you wait? I was in the queue for approx. 20 hours. Ah, well, it's not a big deal. After 20 hours of waiting I'm pretty sure I'd throw a giant tantrum.

Oh for fucks sake this has to stop Also whoever wrote that needs to calm the fuck down. They are so oblivious it's not even funny. So basically her latest cash-grab and attempt to get back into the headlines is releasing stories about side characters and describing the world? Pretty sure there's a lifetime's worth of that already on her website so it'll obviously just be more stuff that's suddenly popped into her head and can make some easy money from. I'm still waiting for the inevitable announcement of Cursed Child being adapted into a movie. Won't be long now, it's coming. I expect the announcement will either be after the first Fantastic Beasts movie is released, or when it's all over and the third (THIRD?! There's three of these fucking things!? ) is finally out.

Whats even worse is that from the descriptions of the books i read in my Goodreads newsletter thing, a lot of the content is just stuff she has already told on Pottermore or elsewhere, with a few extra tidbits thrown in. Blatant cashgrab. Though i have to admit to being interested about Umbridge's roots (apparently discussed in one of these books)

I must admit, one thing I absolutely fucking loved about Cursed Child was the duel between Harry and Draco in Part One. I love, LOVE the fact that they used mostly ineffective 1st and 2nd year spells, like they did in Chamber of Secrets. Like freaking Rictusempra, the tickling charm, and Tarantallegra, the dancing feet spell. It kind of fits these two charcters to use such useless spells against each other, even as fully trained, adult wizards. Also, best cameo ever: Flipendo, the Knockback Jinx, which was never shown in the books or the movies, and was introduced and exclusively used in the Harry Potter video games.

My Patronus on Pottermore sucks. A wild boar. A wild fucking boar. It's like Pottermore was all "remember that animal that traumatized you because it ripped up Old Yeller? LOL WILD BOAR PATRONUS!" I should make a new account

This is fun! Too bad they didn't mention the German translation at all, which is pretty good overall. One thing they changed is the name of the second book, Chamber of Secrets became Chamber of Horrors. I think they probably did that because "Kammer der Schreckens" sounds better and it rolls off the tongue easier than "Kammer der Geheimnisse". Most of the names are the same, except Hermione, who is called Hermine in the German version. To me, she'll always be Hermine. Tom Riddle's middle name is Vorlost (Tom Vorlost Riddle > ist Lord Voldemort). O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s are called ZAG (Allgemeiner Zauberergrad) and UTZ (Unheimlich Toller Zauberer) in Germany, which is kinda lame. It doesn't mean anything, and it's not particuarly clever either. It's a pretty lazy and uninspired translation.

I've been re-reading these books recently, and I have to vent..I hate Steve Kloves. I always have, he's a shit screen writer, but I'm on Chamber of Secrets now and I completely forgot it was Ron who explained what a Mudblood was to Harry and Hermione, and in the movie Hermione explained it herself. Why did Kloves give so many of Ron's great lines to Hermione?! It's bad enough "If you want to kill Harry you'll have to kill us too" went to her in Azkaban.
