Oh so it's two plays? That somewhat explains it. But they're still watched in one sitting right? Else that wouldn't make sense.
Or one play in two parts or whatever.

OH MY GOD, Basil , do you remember in Order of the Phoenix, when Bellatrix is freed from Azkaban and Harry feels Voldemort being joyful? Harry knows that something wonderful must have happened to Voldemort and he wonders why Voldemort is so fucking happy. Yeah, Harry was experiencing a second-hand orgasm. No!  Omg, is this garbage part of the official canon now?!   I'm a tiny little bit scared for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, though.  |

I'm not really bothered by this, I didn't have any intentions to see this play anyway, so it'll be pretty easy to ignore it's existence, but man ... no idea what J.K. was thinking. Seriously, she could have done so many amazing thigns with this, and yet she decided to take the Back to the Future route. 
"Harry, you've gotta come back with me!"
"Where?"
"Back to the future!"
"No, no, no, Dumbledore. I just got here, Ginny just got here, we're gonna take the new broom for a spin."
"Well, bring her along. This concerns her too."

Yeah, the book series is a masterpiece and nothing can change that. This is SO bad that I cannot even take it seriously. It will never be part of the canon for me. It's way too fucking ridiculous.

So I finally got around to reading those Curse Child spoilers. Wow, that was convoluted AF. All we needed was Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way to show up.

I really wish JK Rowling would leave Harry Potter canon alone. But there is a great demand for anything HP related, so she's going to keep doing it. She's better off fleshing out other areas of the story...like Fantastic Beasts. |

The one thing I wanted from Rowling was an encyclopedia of all the characters post Hogwarts. I just wanted to know what they all turned out to be with a bit more detail. Not the Wizarding version of Predestination.

Jesus fucking christ, it's pretty much impossible to get tickets for Cursed Child until December 2017. I just saw on eBay that tickets are getting sold for five times and more their original price. That would have been a good way to make some easy money, I suppose. |
