Margot Robbie said that she learned a ton of choreography for the club scene, and all we saw were "snippets." That means that there's even more footage of Margot Robbie pole dancing that I didn't get to see.
DAMN YOU DAVID AYER. DAMN YOU WARNER BROTHERS.

Ayer said something super dumb lately again but I lost track. People are like he should be back for a sequel because he got decent performances out of the cast but I'm starting to think those good performances were in spite of Ayer. Yeah he gave them creative advice but these are great actors (well most of them) they don't need to be told they are looking at a fetus on a table. Also what the fuck kind of a director tells an actor to just experiment and does nothing? Leto had no direction whatsoever. FFS this isn't 30StM concert where Leto has crowd control as soon as he points at the crowd and grabs his cock. This is a performance in a movie. No matter how talented the actor you just cannot let those people run around, especially when this one runs around with anal beads and condoms

I am 100% supportive of the actors being a part of the creative process, but when it comes down to it, they are actors, not directors or writers or producers. They need a script to work with, they need a director to actually fucking direct them.

I enjoyed Harley Quinn a lot. She is amazing!!! I missed a little Joker's original smile.....(the dental braces were a little odd) but overall it was good. WHy do you want to set WB on fire, LOL?

Let's just say that some people here have been disappointed with the DC films, including SS, which was the most promising. And I think our admin is angry at WB about all the Jared Leto scenes they cut, apparently he filmed way more scenes than the ones we saw in the theatrical release.

WHy do you want to set WB on fire, LOL? oh my, there are several rants on that on my website and all over this board Long story short WB cut a bunch of stuff out of the movie - but used the glimpses of cut scenes in the marketing - and made a whole lot of mistakes during filming and post production. But most of all Jared Leto, whom I'd let kill me and eat me and is awesome, was led to believe his scenes are in when they were cut (because his Joker was too violent, so what a stupid reason) and he continued to promote the movie under false pretenses. Just horrible treatment by WB of actors, fans, source material, basically unprofessional and idiotic on so many levels

#SaveBooBooBatfleck #MakeBooBooSmileBatfleck #RespectBooBooBatfleck I'll stop now I've just quicly read your post in your blog about the deleted scenes. Apparently there are many more? Like the one of your avatar? I agree that it seemed that Joker only did a cameo. I'd have liked to see more of him too, since the only one I knew about apart from Joker about was Deadshot and just a little of Harley before the movie aired (and that is thanks to Smallville, mainly).

My avatar is from Jared's ad for Gucci perfume The only scene that Jared has in the movie that was not drastically shortened is him in the ending, breaking out Harley. And the only reason that it was not shortened was because this is a scene from Spring's reshoots - in original version the ending was different. About 20-30 minutes of his performance are gone. The whole thing in Harley's flashback - the electroshock scene and quick glimpse of her holding a gun to his head - those were long separate scenes. We know all of this because there was a test screening of the movie in Spring and now there is a novelization of the movie out with all of those scenes. Furthermore the soundtrack has music from those scenes. WB released a nurtured version, yet proceeded with marketing as if they released full version. It's a mess of biblical scale, truly. In the original cut Joker was also present in 3rd act of the movie, fighting the Squad. Harley chose them over him and he angrily threw a grenade at her yelling "Bye, bye" (we saw that in trailer). WB got rid of any trace that the relationship was abusive.

I think in a few days , if not sooner, it will bust 600 million , and opens in Japan on Sept 10th , China would have added another 100 million , I still don't understand the China deal .... so wonder if would do the BvS 800 million thing. So I hope Warner is not cavalier enough to think this is all they have do. It seems clear that better story and edit would have pushed the film to a billion.... so maybe sanity will prevail next time around?

Blockbusters movies have two ways of making sure they are released in China: one is making a deal with a film production company from China to film a few scenes so the movie is a co-production and as such is considered a Chinese movie, which is what Marvel did with Iron Man 3 for example, or the film kiss China's ass, which is what Michael Bay did in the last Transformers. Otherwise they have to be approved by the Chinese authorities (that control how many foreign movies are released in China) and follow a certain set of rules. I don't know what those rules are, but I'm pretty sure SS does not qualify.

So I hope Warner is not cavalier enough to think this is all they have do. It seems clear that better story and edit would have pushed the film to a billion.... so maybe sanity will prevail next time around? WB is aware of the fuck up, at least when it comes to Leto. I don't think he would be in Blade Runner 2 otherwise. Them giving him that gig is basically "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US!" plea from them which Leto accepted They must be aware of discontent among fans, which they don't really give a fuck about, but the critics they do care about. BvS reception was enough for them to panic - but in this panic they fucked Squad. So Squad reception must have some consequences too. The shake up already happened, sadly Squad was the last DC movie under old regine, now Geoff Johns is in charge and Wonder Woman will be the first movie being released which will show if they learned from their mistakes The decisions are already good - from everything I heard it seems they fucked off of Patty Jenkins' editing room, they greenlit Batfleck solo which is the best thing to do and they let Affleck rewrite Justice League aka correct whatever monstrosity Snyder wrote. So it can only be better from now on....hopefully. In DC fanbase we look at Johns and Affleck as saviors. It's just a shame whoever made the terrible decisions in regards to Squad had to happen and it's a shame that movie happened when the DC people in charge were complete and utter morons I think in a few days , if not sooner, it will bust 600 million , and opens in Japan on Sept 10th , China would have added another 100 million , I still don't understand the China deal .... so wonder if would do the BvS 800 million thing. I don't know what those rules are, but I'm pretty sure SS does not qualify. SSquad was not released because there are ghosts in the plot. WB doesn't deserve the money for this film, so I'm glad China refused them One thing that is just fascinating is if we will see original cut. WB is not saying a thing about that. Everyone knows that tons of footage was not included. They are not saying anything because of one of these: 1. They would be accused of charging the fans twice - first release cut edition in theatres, then full on DVD/BR (already did that with BvS 2. The cut footage is awful 3. They are admitting their mistake in doing so - we fucked up, we released the wrong cut theatrically In any case Jared Leto fangirls me included are rabid right now so they better release this shit. Not to mention it would do so much better than BvS home release (which is doing AMAZINGLY well and earned like 1/4 of total gross this way) - it's a completely different movie, apparently
