I tried to mask the subject so that I wouldn't spoil it for the whole board who haven't seen the episode yet.
As we know Stannis might have met his end at the hands of Brienne of Tarth (quite a wonder how he found Stannis amongst all those corpses). But we don't see Stannis dying, did Brienne miss her swing on purpose because she realized something? I don't know. If Stannis did die, his death was one of the lamest in TV history. Is he dead or alive?

Dead. As I said in the other thread, I foresee no other purpose he could serve the plot. There's been a question hanging over the reason they left it ambiguous, but honestly, it was likely left ambiguous because the rest of the episode was full of cliffhangers and somewhat uncertain futures.
I did see someone suggest all he has left now is to kill Melisandre, but why does he deserve that honour? She did not force him to burn his daughter alive. Sure,he wouldn't have done it without her whispering in his ear, but at the end of the day, he chose to do it. I doubt Mel dies as retribution for Shireen, but if that is what motivates her downfall, then the only person who can and should do it is Davos.

Maybe she does it to see if he flinches? Maybe she spares him when she sees how little he cares.
I cant see him living though. Ive gave up being optomistic about this show.
