Ok he is dead. BUT OFFSCREEN???? Stannis can only be on screen for a certain amount of time each episode or else D&D might have to acknowledge him as a major character.

I just wanna say I hate D&D so much right now. "He has certain monstrous qualities". Yes. He burned his daughter. Which I can garauntee wont happen in the books. So they basically made him a monster. For what reason, exactly? "Yet he has certain human qualities, such as bravery" No. See if Tyrion, Jon Snow or any of the big favourites stood ground against insurmountable odds in one last stand, and for that matter led his men from the front it would be "a heroic quality". But no. Fuck those guys, seriously. Will they just admit they werent big fans of the character, or better yet, make a show based on what happens, rather than basing it all off of their interpretation of characters.

Benioff also said Stannis had very human qualities, especially bravery. And that Brienne didn't find the monster she expected.

To make Brienne look like a hero when she kills him and for them to finally have an excuse to drop the character that was too difficult for them to write.

Guys!!!
I rewatched the scene where he dies and just as it shifts to Ramsay killing that one guy, you can hear a sound of wood.
I'm thinking too much into it.

Where the fuck did all Stannis' deserting sellswords go? You never played M&B? They run to the edge of the map and then exit to the world map as 'routed enemies'. They flee to the nearest castle and if you dont catch them in time, dissapear forever...

TBH I doubt the sellswords will ever pop up again. They arent there in the books, so the only plot point they can serve is to either ravage the north or steal Stannis' ships. I dont think they actually thought through what they would do after S5. Surely nearly 4000 men cant just dissapear without a trace
