I haven't found the complete list of nominations but GOT leads with 24 total.
Edit: Peter got one for supporting actor and Lena got supporting actress
Emilia was also nominated for supporting actress

Headey and Clarke both got noms really hope Headey wins! Weirdly Pryce got skipped over for outstanding guest actor but Dianna Rigg got a non for outstanding guest actress

"Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken' and "Mother's Mercy" both got directing noms. And the latter also got a writing nom.

Really hope Tim Van Patten snags best direction for Boardwalk Empire. So deserving but probably already forgotten

I'm sorry but what did Clarke do that was Emmy worthy this season? Turner was leagues ahead of her.
I'm glad they got noms, but I just had to throw that out there.

Wow, this is more big noms than we have ever had! Best Drama Best Directing - Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken and Mother's Mercy Best Writing - Mother's Mercy Best Supporting Actor - Peter Dinklage Best Supporting Actress - Emilia Clarke and Lena Heady Best Guest Actress - Diana Rigg I feel good about this year

Personally I think Lena Headey and maybe maybe maybe Kit Harrington were the only ones deserving of acting nominations this year.

Honestly it's a big enough deal for them to just get so many nominations, I doubt they are going to win any of the big ones. Diana Rigg is the only one I can see having a shot in her category (really it's pretty unfair that Dinkles has a monopoly on supporing actor, Kit was better blah blah we already knew this). Would be pleasantly surprised if they won one of these.

I think it's hilarious that the two most controversial episodes of the season are the ones getting nominated. Also, Peter and Emilia getting nominations over the likes of Sophie, Alfie and even Kit is laughable. But it's the Emmys. No surprises there. :lol2

Actually now I think about it, not that he was at all bad in any way, but Dinkles was even shown up within his own storyline this season, Iain Glen outshone him IMO.

Pryce was in too many episodes for guest actor I believe, for those wondering.

I'm assuming Emilia submitted The Dance of Dragons. I'm not really surprised that got her in, Daznak was kind of in the same vein as what she submitted the last time she was nominated. I just wish that if they wanted two GoT actresses that they had gone for Sophie or Maisie but ah well, Lena definitely deserves it most and I hope she wins. GoT may also end up winning drama series too. It felt like the buzz was gone and this has been one of the worst received seasons ("too boring!" Etc) so it will be kind of amusing if that is what gives it it's ticket to the gold. Especially if it loses for season 6 and season 6 ends up being a way better season.

Oh man. Emmys finally became more ridiculous than Oscars. most of the nominations are in the technical categories which are all 100% deserved. The only above the line ones I'd question are the lack of Hardhome for directing and mothers mercy for writing, but I would just swap that out with an earlier episode rather than omit it completely. Oh, and Emilia but the Emmys have always been lazy with acting nods.

God, I can't believe "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" was nominated and Hardhome was not. What the hell?! Hardhome had one of the best action sequence in the history of television, "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" had ... the Sand Snakes, prancing around with their silly, little daggers. And Emilia Clarke was nominated again? I mean, I love Dany and I feel like Clarke is a cool chick in real life, but she really isn't that good of an actress imo, and she doesn't even come close to being the best one in Game of Thrones. Oh well, what else to expect from the people who didn't even nominate Michelle Fairley two years ago.

To be honest I can't even bring myself to care about the injustices in GoTs nomination haul because TATIANA
