Don't you care if GoT wins, tho? Because if it does, the cast might join the producers & co up onstage Oh, I'd love if it wins. If only to at the people who hated s5. It's my favourite show going on at the moment and I'd love vindication on that of some kind no matter how meaningless the Emmys truly are. And Lena deserves it big time. But now that I know Sophie's going, given her recent great choices in dresses, all I can think of is what she'll wear.

I know the answer to this but...is Stephen going? Has Stephen ever been spotted anywhere that wasn't the finished product of a TV show/movie? Did he even attend the Emmys when he was nominated the last time? lol Emmy voters nominating Lena is actually a step in the right direction. Dinklage deserved every nomination he got except this one. He didn't have any "wow" moments in S5. He's getting another nomination based on who he is, rather than what he did. Then Clarke gets nominated because ~ZOMG KHALEESI~ She's also had great moments, but never Emmy worthy ones. She makes Valyrian sound natural and does cool ~khaleesi~ things. That's about it. Sophie should've gotten a nomination this season. Michelle and Nikolaj should've been nominated for S3. Alfie should've gotten one for S2, and also S3. These were powerful performances that were looked over because they are not Tyrion or Dany. **sorry for all the ~khaleesi~ bitching. I know too many people who refer to Dany by that name and think every single thing she does is gold. I'm bitter. lol

I know the answer to this but...is Stephen going? He's too busy reading the Guardian in the dim light of his very well-organized cave.

He's too busy reading the Guardian in the dim light of his very well-organized cave. Stephen: If I have to leave my house to do things other than work, then no, I will not be attending. day dreamer, I 100% agree with you on the nominations. Lena's was deserved. Emilia's wasn't deserved this year and it wasn't deserved in season 3. Peter shouldn't have been nominated for this season as well, it just seems like he is name for them to check off now.

Dinklage winning for this season would be so ridiculous. Tyrion didn't have any meaty moments this season.
Unless it's Emmy worthy to vomit then keep drinking. If he wins, I'll be very happy for him, but come on.

I'm so excited for tomorrow, I went out and bought wine and beer for it haha.
If Tatiana Maslany, Parks and Rec, or Amy Poehler win, I will probably cry tears of joy.

It is easily the worst show out of the nominees this year and from the past couple of years the only nominee I'd put below it is The Big Bang Theory.

I would be annoyed if Modern Family won again so I think Parks and Rec definitely has a good chance, but they keep predicting Transparent will win.

Look at this perfect angel, she deserves an Emmy and she should have already won 2 by now.

I'm just content to have pictures to post in the "appreciating the cast" and "Queen in the North" threads. And there'll be a ton. I'd love for GoT to win big. Most sites predict they will. But I'm pretty used to them not winning awards by now so I won't take it badly if they don't get much. The odds are the most in their favour that they've ever been but genre-prejudice is alive and well alas and isn't likely something that'll be easily conquered.

Tatiana Maslany winning would be sweet. I don't get my hopes up for the ones I want to win because they never do, but she's overdue. If Dinklage wins, the only thing I could say it's a make up win for when he deserved to win for season 4. Definitely doesn't deserve it for this year, he had nothing to do. Uzo had a really good season for season 2 of OITNB and their Emmy nods are a season behind. Lorraine Toussant, who played Vee, was sadly overlooked by the Emmys. I really want Lena to win, but if she doesn't, I'd be okay with Uzo winning.
Amy Poehler, Parks and Rec, and Jon Hamm should walk away winners tonight. That's Hugh Laurie and Steve Carrell level of sad that it's possible Amy, Jon and Parks and Rec will have never won for terrific turns on television. The fact that Hugh and Steve never won ONE Emmy for their respective roles makes me forever side eye the Emmys.
