I actually think GoT has a shot at winning best Drama, even with Mad Men's final season. I think it's the show's weakest season so far, which means this will be the first time it finally wins. I hope Lena wins, but I think Aduba or Hendricks will.

I think maybe Dinklage wins and that's it.
Mad Men will definitely clean up though. Best Drama for sure.

I am really pissed at these awards just because they almost always choose to nominate the "big stars".
Every year it's Clarke, Dinklage, Headey nominated.
Alfie deserves an Emmy. So does many other actors and actresses in this show.
I think Lena wins.

Honestly, I don't think many of the actors get enough material to really stand out. Alfie did great at what was called for him, but it's hard to award a mere minutes worth of acting.

I think this is why GoT has struggled so much in getting recognition for its acting outside of Dinklage. No one else is given enough screentime to really register when the TV Academy has a sea of other performances from actors who are supporting but still in their shows a lot more.

In non-GoT related Emmy news, I'm praying, PRAYING for Chlumsky to upset in the supporting actress comedy category

Can Maisie do a thing in life without having a picture taken?

While I love Uzo Aduba and Christina Hendricks, I am rooting for Lena to win but if she doesn't, I hope it's one of those two.

I say this all the time when people complain about GoT actors either not being nominated or not winning...they just simply do not have enough screen time compared to other supporting actors. You can take Aaron Paul as one example...he was a co-lead in Breaking Bad. But I do think Lena has a really good shot of winning a second GoT acting Emmy on Sunday night.

Now that I know Sophie's going I don't give a fuck who wins anymore. Pictures of her in whatever dress she wears will be enough for me.

It's my favourite show going on at the moment and I'd love vindication on that of some kind no matter how meaningless the Emmys truly are. And Lena deserves it big time. But now that I know Sophie's going, given her recent great choices in dresses, all I can think of is what she'll wear.
