Eh, I wouldn't go that far. There's still loads of problems:Stannis getting stuck in the snow for half the book, irrelevant chapters, Meereen being dull and repetitive, the whole half POV fuckup, the lack of White Walker appearances, Where do Whores Go. It certainly would have made it better though.

Yeah, Meereen is #NotGood and just chucking in some leftover AFFC POV's after the timelines have caught up wasn't amazing either.

ADWD would have been a whole lot better if Tyrion lost about half of his chapters, Jon lost a few of his, Quentyn didn't exist and thus Dany lost one or two of hers and then maybe some of the threads left hanging would have had room to conclude.

Yeah, those all needed serious trimming. But even the smaller PoVs did too. Davos chapter with the pirate guy? What the hell was that. And then his second chapter was him sitting a pub hearing things we already knew.
