It's the scene we've all be dreading, wondering about, and now it's done and over with. Your thoughts?
ETA: Just edited the title. Her name is Sansa, not Sanda. Duh.

Not as bad as people were speculating I think.

Although it wasn't as graphic as I feared, it was still an aweful scene. I'm sad that this is the fate the show has given Sansa and I have to remind myself that this is show only canon. It does make me wonder if the books have something similar in store for her and I do hope not.
As a show, not comparing it to the source material it's fine but I like Sansa as a character and this is upsetting to me.
ETA
the scene was done similar to Dany's wedding night but at least with her we knew things with Drogo would get better. I don't think things with Ramsey will get better.

It was tough but they plowed through it as quickly as they could. Also, I'm sort of glad (in a strange way) that they made it clear it was rape so that we didn't have any wishy-washy consensual/non-consensual ambiguity.

It was hard to watch and gross, but thankfully it wasn't as graphic as what happened to Jeyne.
Brace yourselves, online outrage is coming. People are already claiming this is about Theon and not Sansa.

I'm relieved that it was not too bad.

Like I said in another thread, it was much, much better than I expected. It was still horrible, though. When we were discussing this scene this last week I was saying I wouldn't really mind it and wouldn't have many problems with it, but you guys were right about the victim being a character who we've have watched grow up for years, both in age and in character development. I felt like I was watching my sister having sex.

I'm just really glad I don't watch this show unspoiled.

Might be the most uncomfortable thing I've seen on this show. Joffrey dying was bad too. This is worse because she didn't deserve it. The only thing I can be thankful for was that it wasn't worse.

I thought this was going to be worse than last nights Outlander but it didn't even come close.

I wasn't too bad but I was still hoping it wouldn't be that violent. Although, we didn't see it, it still obviously sounded horrible. That was definitely the most comfortable I've ever been watching this show.

I just remembered that Theon once mentioned how he used to hope that he would get to marry Sansa and be a real part of the Stark family and that just made all of this even sadder.

It was perfectly done.
Not gratuitous, but disturbing all the same and hard to watch.
We knew it was coming for weeks, so now it's done and hopefully we can move on.

If felt very uncomfortable, yes, but it wasn't as bad as all of us expected. In fact, Jaime raping Cersei last year felt worse to me for some reason. Maybe it is because I have hope that Sansa + Theon will off Ramsay this season or the next.
It was difficult to watch, but it didn't "ruin the show for me" at all. And in terms of traumatic tellevision, it doesn't even compare to the RW IMO. Catelyn watched her son and unborn grandson being slaughtered by surprise in the middle of a peaceful dinner... Think about it. The show has done much worse. The main problem with this scene is that it wasn't in the books, but we should stop thinking that way I guess.

The people who think this was about Theon clearly didn't watch this scene correctly. All the people whining about that would still be whining about much worse if we actually saw what he was seeing.

The scene was very well done but... ugh! Not fun to watch. Still better than the Jamie/Cersei scene last year. Maybe because Ramsey is supposed to be a psychopath.

I was glad we did get more of a close-up on Sansa's face before it cut back to him and there wasn't the same dramatic extreme zoom with Theon. I'm now reminded of all the people who said the Red Wedding would probably be made about Talisa.

I have yet to watch the episode but someone on WotW comment section suggested it could be like Lisbeth Salander's story...that would be cool if Sansa actually hurts/murders some of those psychos. I don't think this is gonna happen, but at least it would make that horrible thing that happened to her hurt the viewers less
