All around Kit was great. He's doing exceptional work this season.

I thought Sophie Turner, Iwan Rheon, Michael McElhatton, and Alfie Allen were the best.

Ian Glen's acting at the end of the episode was fantastic. Sophie Turner and Alfie Allen both nailed their reunion scene and everyone was on-point for the Bolton dinner scene and the subsequent father-son chat. Also Peter Vaughan IS Aemon.

I thought Kristofer Hivju (Tormund) was really good in his scene with Jon.
As was Peter Vaughan (Maester Aemon) in his kill the boy speech.

The whole gang was superb.
Loved every second.
Outstanding: Sophie, Iwan, Alfie, Kristofer, Michael (Roose).
(Peter is always great as Tyrion. I'm biased.)

Peter never really does it for me, personally. I just can't look past how bad his accent is

Peter never really does it for me, personally. I just can't look past how bad his accent is I can. I'm no native speaker unfortunately. I try to speak "high German" - and RP (received pronunciation for English, commonly known as "King's/Queen's English") is very difficult for non-native speakers sometimes (I do speak English with a Yorkshire accent). I'm alright with his slipping into his native accent because he's a terrific actor and one of the best actors on the show (if you haven't seen "The Station Agent" yet, go watch).

The look on his face when he first saw Drogon was just really excellent. The wonder and aw was plain for the audience to see.

I wanted Jorah to say that one is called Drogon or something along those lines though.

Alfie Allen, Michael McElhatton, Iwan Rheon, Kristofer Hivju, Sophie Turner and Iain Glen.
EDIT: I wrote Glein instead of Glen

Peter Vaughan. He's stolen every scene he's in. I'm going to miss him.
Honorable mentions go to Kit and Alfie.

^Yeah, that kennel scene can't be praised enough really. The little details in his performance, his lip trembling, him hiding his mutilated hands after she said "Theon". It was perfect. And Sophie's reaction shot game is top-notch too.
Also I should mention Stella McCusker's WF serving lady. She brings across a lot of warmth with very little to do or say, which takes a lot of screen presence to pull off right.

Alfie Allen has been excellent in recent seasons (he was always good) , I wonder what time one needs to qualify for an Emmy nom?

Once again Emilia hammers her lines when she speaks Valyrian. What the hell goes on? I don't think she dubs those , we have seen her rehearsing Valyrian. She has a different projection of voice when speaking the Mother Tongue. She seldom seems to do that when speaking 'Common Tongue'.
