It's true, Maisie spoke once of doing ADR (automated dialogue replacement), I am sure that is standard operational. I don't think Emilia uses a 'voice double' since David Peterson has noted all the actors do their Valyrian lines and he has noted that Emilia does good but not as perfect as a few others.IIRC he said that Jacob Anderson does it the best, right? He had high praise for Dan Hildebrand too who was great in season 3. It seems he likes Nathalie Emmanuel , but since season 3 Peterson has not made much comment about actors , maybe on purpose. I thought Carice and Paul Kaye were particularly good in E6E3 would like to hear Carice speak more Valyrian. On Valyrian, I notice , both this season and last how they 'salt' the dialog with it, sometimes giving Emilia long stretches, just my ear but I think Emilia is doing better with it than ever, wonder what Peterson thinks?

Sophie Turner for me. She was having a serious case of emotional indigestion in that dinner scene.

^Yeah, that kennel scene can't be praised enough really. The little details in his performance, his lip trembling, him hiding his mutilated hands after she said "Theon". It was perfect. And Sophie's reaction shot game is top-notch too. Also I should mention Stella McCusker's WF serving lady. She brings across a lot of warmth with very little to do or say, which takes a lot of screen presence to pull off right. Sansa's and Theon's kennel scene is one of my favorites of the episode. I definitely agree. And the serving lady is also great. I'd disagree on the basis I thought they used the wrong take for Reek saying "You shouldn't be here." They probably did this for clarity of delivery purposes, but Reek goes from sitting up and squirming back down, to still and calm w/ delivery, then scurrying back into the corner. His words were more "Theon" rather than "Reek," and it should have conveyed more total distress at the thought she is before him and knowing Ramsay will punish him for this. You could say Sansa showing up brought out the Theon or something in him, but he didn't act near that way with Yara, although Yara did move into his cage. Everything else about his performance in that scene was perfect though. ---- Best performance IMO goes to Raymond Keane for an outstanding minor character introduction as the innkeep, who may never even show up again. I don't even know what his character was but he took boring lines like "Who are you?" and "Her mother's dead" and totally elevated them 900% what they were on the page. There have been few minor characters to come along to do stuff like that. Young Cersei girl, Jodhi May as well, the guy last season in Meereen with the bones of his daughter... But I don't know if anyone has had this level of mostly... bland material and just totally transformed it.
