Bowen Marsh was an obtuse piece of shit character who had it out for Jon from the start. Not sure why fans have so much of an attachment for him. You'd think that a kid that Jon took under his wing and is trying to mentor just as the last LC mentored him would be a more dramatic candidate to have turn on him but naw, it's probably better that it's an unlikeable a-hole who was never inclined to ally with Jon in the first place. Yeah it's just...nobody likes Olly But I might be biased I like Olly.

Olly is totally striking the killing blow. I wonder if Edd will take part in FTW now, but I don't think he will. Even though he disagrees with Jon, he seems to remain loyal to him. Damn, I really hope he doesn't partake in the stabbing ;-|

Yeah, Edd taking part in it would really be seriously heartbreaking, especially since they've already killed off Pyp and Grenn - Jon's got no one left as a friend especially if he sends Sam to Oldtown as being speculated.

I doubt Edd will take part in it. He's going along to Hardhome with Jon after all, so he's THAT loyal at least. What's more likely I'd say is that Edd dies there, leaving Jon utterly friendless at the Wall, having sent Sam to Oldtown.

I think Nezzer's right. They are setting up Ollie (Olly? Olli?) for a big role and I definitely think either he strikes the final blow or one of the blows. I hope Edd is not a part of it.

Particularly, I think, because Olly's been established as being someone he expects to bring him Longclaw. I think when he rallies the folks to march south, he'll ask Olly to go and get his sword and then, because Olly very purposefully won't bring the sword, he'll be unarmed when the mutineers fall upon him. Olly's the one I expect to be crying but Thorne'll be their ringleader.

Olly will be involved but only as a "going along for the ride" participant. None of the NW would follow him so Thorne would have to be the main conspirator.

I think we might get a scene of Thorne influencing Olly too. I think the reason he was present for that meeting Jon had with Stan and Davos was so that he could tell Thorne later in the season that Stan had offered Jon a lordship. That would give Thorne good reason to suspect that Jon's predisposed towards breaking his vows for Stannis's sake.

C'mon, Edd only spoke up in that scene because he hasn't had a line all season and it wouldn't make sense for Bowen and Othell to have lines, but not someone the audience actually knows. It makes sense to have a non-Olly non-Thorne known anti-wilding guy even if he's not in on FTW. Especially so, to show that there are others in the Watch who are not free folk friendly but still have loyalty to Jon. Bowen and Othell can round out the FTW conspiracy, it doesn't need three famaliar characters, since that'd be a fundamental twist from Bowen and some barely-known flunkies from the builders and stewards.

It has to be this season when Samwell heads to Oldtown, he cant just up and leave after Jon is Stabbed. He has to be sent.
Seems Aemon will perish RIGHT when Jon sends them to the Citadel or he perishes so Jon sends them to the citadel, so he wont even make it on the boat. One boat might be saved from Stannis to send Samwell to the citadel. Hell be gone episode 7 or so.
But anyways, you know how the show does it. They get on the boat. By next season episode 1 or 2 they will already be in Oldtown, no Journey like in the books, since the Aemon events are already happening at the wall(reading the letter about Dany, he will probably mention something about her to Samwell on his death bed eventually).

We have never been there in the books, have we?

RAMSAY: May our happiness spread from Moat Cailin to the Last Hearth.
Also, the guy Brienne spoke to was wearing the trademark Frey earflap cap. Just sayin'

I meant to mention it in another discussion about the rather weird way they had Brienne just blurt out to this strange old man that way - seemed way too risky IMO. Got caught up in that part of the issue and forgot to say the first thing I thought when I saw that old man was "That's a Frey!"
