This season seems to be a season of foreshadowing, so let's documents what we've learn this episode. - "Terrible thing, a Targaryen alone in the world" and in walks Jon Snow. I think this is both a (very obvious) foreshadowing of Jon being a Targaryen as well as a hint to a future Dany x Jon relationship.
- Olly's reaction to Jon bringing the Wildings across the Wall. In case we weren't already sure, he stabbing Jon.
- Jorah becoming patient zero (very upsetting).
- Oldtown - it's happening people!
Any other foreshadowing?

Randyl Tarly. Will he interact with Sam, who knows?

It was lovely to get Oldtown confirmed.

They are foreshadowing Oldtown and the Citadel a great deal as well. They even had Sam explain that that's where maesters are trained. We're definitely going there someday, this season or the next.

Oh, they also talked about dragon glass and Sam trying to learn about the WW.

I think it's pretty safe to say that an introduction of Randyll Tarly and a visit to the Citadel are both more or less a given. There's just way too much discussion that's occurred between characters that are involved in the book arcs there that it's inevitable.
I was always on the fence with Randyll being on the show since he could be a character that could be cut with not much consequence but the fact that he's Sam's dad makes it a far greater possibility since they'd love to pay off that relationship somehow.
Oldtown, I though they'd only keep if it was essential to the endgame and it looks like it is. I could see the show definitely sending Sam and Gilly there as early as this season. For one, we know that Sam and Gilly bone in E7 and it's difficult to see them doing that at Castle Black. Also we know that Aemon is going to die probably next episode and Sam's just mentioned his interest in being a maester. Jon sending Sam (with Gilly) to Oldtown to train to be the NW maester gives them the reason.
I also wonder if they'll find a way to bring Shireen with them although that might be tough to fathom logistically now that she's on the road with Stannis. I still think this makes a lot of sense narratively and it would seem weird to build up the Gilly and Shireen relationship somewhat without them linking up again.

Y You pretty much hit everything. Maybe we will see Randyll Tarly on the show. We will 10000% not see JonCon (if there was still hope)

Also, if you're looking for even more confirmation that Greyscale coming to Westeros is a big deal in the books, tonight's episode was a good one. Obviously, JonCon bringing it over is important enough that the show gave the action to Jorah.

I have to to reiterate how upsetting it is to me that Jorah is the one bringing greyscale to Westeros.

Well we don't know for certain if Jorah will actually be like JonCon and hide it all the way to Westeros, do we? He knows the consequences of getting it - but so did JonCon. I guess determination to see your goal to it's end could keep you from doing the right thing or perhaps the hope of getting it cured somehow? Shireen is evidence it's possible!
But anyways - yes - loads of foreshadowing in this episode and it's very thrilling!
Olly will definitely be in on FTW - sadly. I don't even feel much for him so I wonder if show-only fans do? I mean, I guess we're supposed to sympathize with him from the horrific wildling attack on his village/family ... but for some reason I don't. Maybe because I'm already damning him as guilty in the plot against Jon?
I loved the dragonglass reminder - great way to do so between Stannis and Sam. One thing that always peeved me in the books was not enough attention paid to that small detail IMO. It seemed to have been quickly forgotten after the Sam-the-Slayer incident and no one seemed to be giving a shit about making dragonglass weapons. I think by having Stannis get that knowledge, I somehow feel more confident they're not going to forget about it now! Stannis doesn't forget anything!
Targaryen queue entrance from offstage was fantastic. *BONG* (hitting us book readers over the head with the funny bat!)

I don't really get the point of him, or exactly what he does other than steal Edd's job... I'm sure he'll get some actual development this series. Also, rewatched epsiode 4 and noticed the Jaime Bronn scene with whole "dying in a womans arms" bit from Jaime and Bronn asking "does she want that?" Foreshadowing Jaime killing Cersei? I know lot of us were predicting this one...

According to Val, she wasn't cured as much as her Greyscale was stopped for now... Cant recall the quote, I'll have a look and post it for you. Either way, it seems suggested that Greyscale never quite dies.

They want to show that the men who betray Jon aren't doing it just because, they have real reasons to hate the Wildings. When Jon was talking to Olly, he said something like "I've lost my family too", I wanted Olly to say to Jon "and would you forgive those who killed your family" which is basically what Jon is asking Olly to do.

Catelyn's named also keeps being namedropped. Her character just won't "go away".
Sansa paraphrasing "I'd rather have a mom that's not dead"
Hmmmmmmmm
Why do we torture ourselves?

This was the the quote according to this article: Every time you wear something you made, Myranda says, you can remember her. To which Sansa replies, “I’d rather have a mother.” So she didn't say "dead". Sorry If I mislead here but still foreshadowing a bit (I hope)
