Wow I can't get off this board I have stuff to do but my refresh button resistance is so weak! I know, right? Just realized my poor dog has been sitting here staring at me for like half an hour because she needs to go out so bad!  hahaha, I wasn't even sure whether my husband had said goodbye when he left for that last minute task of helping someone install flooring, LOL |

He/she will get his channel shut sooner or later. That would be an absolute nightmare. The losses must be huge. How did the bloody leaker get his hands on these? I doubt this has caused them much loss tbh. Probably most who watched the leaks will also tune in to the premiere, and there will be loads out there who either: a) didnt watch the leaks, or b) didnt even know about them (seriously, if not for me signing up to this board I wouldnt have a clue.) Anyway, my sympathy is limited when it comes to such large multimillion dollar companies taking a loss  especially when its partly due to their own fault ITA HBO has gotten plenty of money out of me........when I only use the damn channel for a few things. |

I didn't pass out links. What I did find......was listings over at reddit of various episodes. I also found listings at one the Pirate Bay sites, I guess it was. Just searching on my own, I didn't receive or give links to anyone. I'm actually pretty afraid of viruses, to tell you the truth.

This event will almost certainly lead to far greater restrictions on access to screeners next year -- if any exist at all -- and that will impact the ability of many sites to provide fans the kind of early looks at the episodes that HBO has up to now been willing to encourage.

That I do understand, it's because he was a recipient of the screeners himself and has a legal responsibility, I suppose. The same with Sue at WotW, and that is why they went crazy just at spoilers at first from the screeners. They have some legalities in it all I guess, and must also.....cover their ass. That way, they may not look like the guilty party. But NO, I'm not crying a river over Poor HBO. |

Keeping the links off the site, yes, he should do, but actively seeking them out so that he can pass them on to HBO for nuking I do not get. It doesn't help that websites like Variety and Uproxx made articles about the episodes leaking. Gizmodo was even wors and listed torrent websites that they first appeared on lol.

Someone in that group made copies and distribituted it. You have no responsibility whatsoever to help track that person and if you yourself didn't copy it, nothing to worry about. I do agree it's a bit of overkill on Ran's part, and I do think it's a combination of cover his ass, and kissing others. Maybe bossing people around on a big board for way too long has gotten to him, he thinks he's the police of everything....not just his own little webverse? LOL

Makes sense to me. They want HBO to find out who did the leaks, so Elio and Sue can proove that it wasnt them. It sucks but the damage is done, we may get 1-2 EP screeners next year, and probably only big sites like Westeros, Entertainment Weekly, Watchers etc trusted websites will get it next year.
