He's reading a Winds chapter at the Kansas City convention on 5/22 or 5/23. He didn't indicate if it's a new chapter yet, however. I bet he spoils if Pink Letter was true or false and to what extent, seeing how we will have at least one Stannis/Bolton showdown in this season

It was wonderful having five books in a row to read (I'm a fast reader), but I prefer waiting instead of having a rushed unfinished book. (By the way, amazon.de states release date as July 14th 2016. They must have some fortune teller like Maggy the Frog )

I'm a pretty slow reader (1 or 2 chapters per night) and I'm re-reading AGOT (went through the first pass with audiobooks). I think it's pretty safe that I'll have ADWD done before I get my hands on TWOW in 2017.

I would not count on a "new" chapter. Its not long at all since he released (very grudgingly, I'll add) Alayne. And he has read chapters already released in some form before. He could read Theon I, Mercy, Alayne...I would not put high odds on a new chapter.
EDIT: Can't quite remember what the time difference is but I think it should be happening soonish, after which reports should trickle in
EDIT2: He read Alayne I *smug face*

With Season 6 casting information, I hope that sparks another fire under GRRM's ass. Get it done!

Well, we need to be logical about this. Looking at the casting call and the plotlines we can deduce which plot-lines may be spoiled by the show, those are the chapters GRRM will probably release, like he did with the Mercy one.
Euron is in, so a Damphair chapter is possible. So is Randyll Tarly, so maybe we will get a new Cersei chapter, and if the flashback speculation is true, Bran is another possibility.

Late 2019 or early 2020. LOL, the echo chamber over on IWC really is powerful, isn't it?

No, it's just that I've said it so many times now. It's pessimistic, yes, but it's my honest prediction. Most IWC members would say 2017.
