Taking aDwD as a reference and assuming they will rush through the editing again, plus printing process and distribution, calculate on 90 days after submitting the draft. So in this scenario, July 2016. Which would let them use GoT S6 to pimp the release. |

Well, this is interesting. If indeed true, I think I will wait until the end of season 6 to read it. That way I can have the suspense of not knowing what happens, which I've never really had with the show. Although, they do their own thing, we book reader, generally have an idea of where the main story is going. |

Long story short, GRRM wrote a comprehensive entry his blog that didn't get publish on 12/31. He blamed technical issues. He is now going back and writing each one individually. In one his entries, he said "And yes, I talked about WINDS, but I talked about a lot of things as well. That was the sort of year it was. ". Since then he's posted a few blog entries but no WINDS chatter.
