I'm so hyped for this game, but sadly there's been nothing new since this trailer.

Finished Season 3 of Telltale's The Walking Dead tonight. I was pretty sure from the start there was going to be a Kate or Gabe decision. I chose Kate. I hope Kate/Javi stay around for next season. The thing I hated from season 2 was the introduction of a whole new cast just to kill them off. I still hope Christa comes back, and I'm still pissed they killed off Jane (or Kenny, if you saved him).

I finally had time to finish the second Dark Souls 3 DLC, so here are some thoughts.
Well, it was certainly longer than the first one, but overall, I didn't like it quite as much. I just really dig the snowy forest theme of the first DLC, the second one was just another ancient ruin city thing ... something we've seen like a million times in this series. The bosses were kind of cool, but they weren't nearly as memorable as Sister Friede from the first DLC, or really any of the major bosses from the main game. I still liked them, though.
I also feel like they went overboard with the difficulty in this one. I died more in this DLC than I ever did in the main game, there are so many flying enemies who are almost impossible for you to kill, but they continuously bombard you with spells ... so all you can really do is run, dodge and pray that you don't get hit by their attacks, which is no fun at all.
It's a bummer that even though this is the last piece of Dark Souls content we'll ever get, the story is still a cryptic mess. I mean, the first game had its fair share of cryptic story beats, but I feel like this has only gotten worse as the series has progressed. In Dark Souls 3, weird shit happens all the time and you have not the slightest fucking idea why. The entire game feels surreal and dreamlike. And seeing as how this is the final piece of Dark Souls content period, I hoped that they would give us maybe a little bit more this time. But no, it's more of the same really.
I have now played every piece of Dark Souls content there is and I still have no idea what the actual story of this entire series is.
That was kind of a disappointing final chapter to the Dark Souls series, to be honest.

Have you seen this guy's videos: They helped me understand the first game, and I know he's done them for Demon's Souls, and DS2/3 as well.

AC Origins looks fucking amazing, but you should never trust an Ubisoft trailer, so I refuse to get hyped.

Omg, Beyond Good & Evil 2. It's weird though, the first game was very child friendly. They seem to have completely changed the tone of the franchise ... there was so much swearing in this trailer.
